The store had lots of freight on the sales floor making it difficult to shop enjoyably. At checkout, they had all of the self checkout registers except for one closed. The one open was being used by an employee to ring guests out. Personally, I prefer to ring my own purchases and not have to wait. Not only that, using the pin pad with the way the self checkout registers are was very awkward. I prefer email receipts, employee didnt ask when it prompted and only printed it. The cherry on top of this poor experience was being asked to rate the store by the employee. If I'm going to answer that question, i dont want an employee entering it in for me. Read moreFive Below is a nice little store. It is definitely geared more towards a young adult or teenage crowd, but this store has something for all ages. It kinda reminded me of a Dollar General or a Dollar Tree. With that being said, I cannot overlook the customer service that I recieved. While I was there, I talked with 2 employees and the manager. I asked sort of dumb questions woth obvious answers. I was expecting a sarcastic response from the employees, but instead I got very polite and informative answers. The manager at this store seems to really know what he is doing. He either hired very nice and smart personal, or Five Below has one hell of a training program.

Read moreI went to check out and the man behind a counter told me to go to the other counter and check myself out. He stared at me from his counter the entire time I checked myself out. Didn't come to help when I had trouble, but he was not doing anything else. I told him to have a nice day on my way out and he scowled at me. Also, i dont like having to rate my store experience in front of a cashier.
