ALDI — Local services in Maine Township

There's no customer service... you can't get a hold of the store and you can't get anyone on the phone since Aldi's response is to "deal with us via email". Bought number of family size chicken drumsticks and all were spoiled - very weird since those were partially still frozen when I opened the package, but the smell was so bad that made my wife and kids puke. Blood on the package was black - so not sure if during transport trailer's freezer went out and someone made executive decision to freeze it and put it on the shelves or if the store freezer died overnight and they decided to sell spoiled merchandise... I any case, what's the use of unconditional guarantee if you can't get a...

It is a newly remodeled location that looks very nice. Shelves are neatly stocked and floor associate offered and helpful in finding the bread I wanted. The downside was the cashier that was restless while I was unloading my full cart. There was no more room on the belt for the items I had on the bottom of the cart so i pushed through and mentioned those items. I went to return to my young so that was with me and cashier asked me to pick up items off bottom of the cart so he could scan them so he wouldn't have to stand up. It was a lazy request and an overall poor service. Also he said nothing else, not even the total price due. Just unprofessional. Great store, not so great...

Aldi is a place that's easy to speed thru at the quick pace I like in a grocery store. Not much selection for a given product, but I like that -- as long as they're very good items -- and they just about always are. A lot of their own brands for many, but just as good as the "name brands". I'm not fond of the steady price increases (for last 2-3 yrs). They keep going up. However, important: Still significantly cheaper than the big name grocery stores. I kinda miss their old "look". They've remodeled many locations -- really "prettied up" their locations to look more like Jewel, Marianos. Much brighter, colorful, mainstream. These are probably a big reason (or excuse) for...
