RadioShack - Innovative Electronics — Local services in Maitland

My wife, Tere Pizarro and me went today to this Radio Shack Store to get a battery operated fan and batteries for my daughter who is living in Puerto Rico which was devastated by Hurricane Maria and there is no power in the Island! We met Mr. Bruce who has excellent Customer service and got US what he needed and also showed us a Solar Charger for Smartphones and I pads which we bought! I also asked him for a Shortwave RADIO and he showed me one which I bought for $30 and is a solid performer! I could hear a station from Saudi Arabia loud and clear! There is another store in Clermont which we went on several occasions to try to find a connector for a HD TV antenna coaxial cable and a SW radio jack and in that store they told us that does not exist! We told MR. Bruce about what we needed and he got the connections we needed to connect the TV antenna and thr SE radio jack! Mr. Bruce has EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE and he is the best at his job! We will recommend this store without hesitation! In our opinion this is the best store in Florida and around the world! We give Thanks to God for giving us the pleasure to meet this...

I have been here twice. Good customer service. The reason for 3 stars is the limited selection. For engineers and makers who are used to Radio Shack, this store does not have the variety of components. I went in for really common parts and they didn't have them. They do have plenty of parts for home office or typical cables. Also lots of kids project kits. The prices are pretty high. I was willing to pay more instead of waiting for Amazon shipping. But without many electronic components in stock, I have to use Amazon anyway for much cheaper. If they stocked up their components significantly, I'd go back for...

The store that saved Halloween!!! Was looking for a specific battery and mount for costume and the 2 battery plus’s I visited didn’t have. The last battery plus did tell me Radio Shack would probably have it. Didn’t know there were any more of them around but what a lifesaver! Not only did they have but the owner was very helpful and also advised how to assemble! He could’ve just sold me items and rushed me out the door but instead spent 15 minutes going over assembly! You really don’t get service like that anymore and wow what a blast from the past entering the store!! Thanks Radio Shack you are...
