Update: There is no words to describe how disappointed I am in the trust I had with this business.. Trust was what I thought I had built with the employees here.. how can you sleep at night knowing you rip people off on a daily basis.. There are not enough negative words I can express on how sorry I am that I let you work on my car trusting your company..never again..not only did you almost take me for 2149.00 but to tell me I had a screw in my tire and there was no screww.. I could go on and on but your not worth another minute of my time Dustin.. the anger I have for this location is a understatement... I am thankful that I was smart enough to go somewhere that does not try to rip people off like Single Females.... I should have known from the moment Pit Stop on 31 in Athens did me wrong I should have never gone in another Pit Stop location... Joe is the only one I trust in the lower bay but I don't know if he works there anymore. If he does you're safe having him do all the lower bay things like drain oil, remove and replace the filter, and inspect and correctly tighten the drain plug. Joe even does the courtesy of letting you know if he sees something out of order like leaks, damage, etc.. If he isn't working I just go home and change it myself. The last three visits I've had to ask for the tires to get aired up after they assumed the job was done. I thought it was part of an oil change. Was told by the manager they no longer do tire repairs not too long ago but I understand, it's hard to get people who have experience and won't damage tire sensors and rims. Much like every other business the place has gone downhill as far as service and attitude so it's hit and miss anywhere you go. Employees are put in a position of sell, sell, sell instead of just providing a good solid oil change that isn't interrupted by a sales pitch for add-ons. Thats where the profit is in this kind of business so expect it. I go here because it's close and even then I'm one of those people who stand back and observe because things get ignored. I changed my initial five stars to three because of the upper bay guys eyeballing tire pressures on the last...

Highly Recommend this location! Pit Stop in Malakoff, TX has definelty stepped up their game and the competion is in trouble!!! The service was good before and know it is Exceptional!! My entire fleet of vehicles has been serviced at this shop for several years and it use to take about an hour to get an oil change. This is no longer the case! Derrick (the new manager), Tyler and Joe have definately set the bar high! The shop was exsteamly busy and the crew was on point! Let me tell you these guys worked extreamly well together and were very fast! The communication skills this team had with each other along with each customer was professional and reassuring at the same time. Getting my vehicle serviced here was very easy and the atmosphere of the shop and crew was definately professional yer very welcoming! The energy of this crew is Texas homestyle hospitality with 5 star service! The team knew thier job and knew who was working on what while being proficient and out going!
