This is one of the most authentic wholesale organic farmers markets in California and special venues. California’s oldest organic farm it lives up to the billing. The best nutrient dense “real organic” produce curated by The “Intuitive Forager” Kerry Clasby, who travels the west coast to pull together the best organic produce available. Kerry; owns the Malibu Fig Ranch @ Sterling Farms and she is an organic farming pioneer. She in one of the pioneers in farm to table movement, invented avocado toast literally, and is famous among culinary epicurean’s and “real organic” farmers who take their nutrient dense soil, composting and organic practices super seriously. 40 years ago Kerry was promoting and advocating for these hidden gem organic farmers and convinced LA’s top 3,4,5 star chefs why using organic heirloom tomatoes., Harry’s berries and so many other diamonds in the rough specialty organic farmers and their world class high dense produce in their menus for discerning customers. Pioneering this concept it spread to San Francisco, Las Vegas and New York. You can get the best organic produce from these specially curated farms at the Fig Ranch, as this is at her central distribution farm and market for these farms top reach markets. During Woolsy Fire Kerry lost everything and she became one of the leaders and faces of the fire and the resilient community that built back their lives. During Covid she help nightly community dinners and pizza with who’s who in Malibu until the bureaucracy of Malibu shout her pizza and cafe down. Sad! This was an epic community gathering spot brought down by misuse of Government! Now the farm is a while sale farmer’s market and she does very special invite only community events still to bring close friends and the community together. A national treasure!

Me and my friends pass by this place. If you looking for fresh cherries they out of season, but they have a huge variety of vegetables and frozen meat. Also they have raw honey which goes for $25(16oz) and $35(32oz). They fresh mushrooms goes for $25 per lbs.

They were having an event for fire victims when I stopped by looking for produce, but the owner greeted me warmly and invited me in to look around and stay for dinner. It’s a beautiful place and the tiny fruits I bought were delicious.

I wish there was an option to give ZERO stars. My family and I went to visit and it was the absolute worst experience with Lydia (older woman with an accent). We traveled three hours to take my 92 year old grandfather who is on hospice dying to his first workplace and it was the absolute worst experience. She had the absolute worst customer service we have ever experienced. From the minute we got off the car we were given dirty looks and annoyingly asked what we were doing there. We asked how we were able to purchase fruits/veggies and she said they were closed despite two open signs, the hours on google and the open gate. When we asked for her name she responded “why do you need to know that.” Areas throughout the farm that said pick your own she said were “restricted.” She was telling her coworkers to “keep and eye on us.” She was clearly prejudice! Don’t waste your time or money...

First and last time here. Was driving by and thought it would be nice to check out. The people who work there look like they hate life. No greeting , and when I asked how does this work, the heavier set lady said “you just go in and shop” as if it was obvious to go straight into a walk in cooler. I picked out some items and then their system to accept payments wasn’t working and the same lady was annoyed and at that point I left without anything purchased but I’m glad because I wouldn’t want to give a place like...
