SunLife Organics — Restaurant in Malibu

am beyond frustrated with the staff at this location. While I genuinely enjoy SunLife’s products and smoothies, the customer service here is consistently cold, unhelpful, and unprofessional. I come by often after walking my dog at Zuma Beach, but every visit is a reminder of how unfriendly the staff are—no matter how polite or cheerful I am, they never reciprocate.

Ordering ahead for pickup doesn’t help either. When I arrive at the window, I’m routinely ignored. Even when I try to get the staff’s attention with a smile, they act like I’m invisible. It’s clear that making customers feel welcome is not a priority here.

Honestly, I’m just waiting for another business to open up nearby that actually values its customers, because I’d happily take my business somewhere with a genuinely warm and...

This was probably one of the most disappointing açaí bowls I’ve ever had. The Buddha Bowl I ordered came only about half full, with the toppings lazily placed on top. While it looked a bit unappetizing, I was hopeful it would taste great. Instead, it was smothered with a thick layer of honey - it made the bowl sickenly sweet. The blueberries on top were tiny and tasted like thawed, frozen blueberries. There were about 5 slices of a banana. The açaí itself tasted like it was from a frozen packet you could buy at the grocery store. For a $15 açaí bowl (not including tax) I expected more. Way more. The only thing redeeming about this place was that the staff was nice.

I am just stopping to Sunlife organics in Malibu. I thought I would splurge and order the billion dollar smoothie. One of the employees could not confirm if any of the ingredients had caffeine, for the record they don’t. There was a key ingredient that was not available. I overheard the manager say just leave it out…. If health wellness are concern, I would suggest finding a provider that is informed of their product and doesn’t leave ingredients out. seems like businesses who cared for their customers offered them make it right before dismissing me with a smile. however if you’re just looking to hang out with the kids and get an overpriced milkshake.
