I’ve purposely shopped here for years for my daughter’s dance wear and shoes, I really wanted to support local. I cannot say I have ever had a good experience shopping here. The salesperson is rude, I feel as though I am bothering her asking for help with shoe sizing. This is the whole point of going into the store rather than ordering online. As much as I wanted to continue to support local, my last shopping experience was enough for me to look elsewhere. I felt like I was a bother and slightly a sense of discrimination as other customers in the store at the same time were not given the same treatment I felt I had been. We were showed where the dressing rooms were and the sizes given where dead on. The cleanliness of the store was wonderful and it was very organized. I was very impressed with this store. The knowledge the saleswoman had about the sizes was amazing and her suggestions made perfect sense. I will definitely be back for future needs. She is at the Bolshoi Ballet Summer Intensive in CT for three weeks, and was in need of new box liners for her pointe shoes ASAP. I could not find them online (that would actually get shipped to her fast enough), and I found Dance Village through a Google search, called them directly (from home in California) and was able to pay for the box liners over the phone, and they are mailing them just a few towns over for us tomorrow.
