The staff there has been some of the most friendly subway staff I have ever met. That being said, I have a major gripe. I usually order a sandwich off the Subway app, and pick it up to eat on my way to work, which is about a 33+ minute drive. I'm a regular, I pretty much order there all the time. There have been some minor problems with my sandwich not being ready when I get there, but it's honestly just because I order online so much. Usually, they make it real quick and I have just a little time to spare, so it's always worked out., and they've gotten far better where it's rarely a problem. I never really fretted if it just so happened that I couldn't wait for it that time, because I figured they'd either cancel it or give me credit or something and I'd be fine. Well, this Saturday (in the morning), I ordered a Steak and Cheese online. I get a phone call from them as I'm readying for work, they don't have Italian bread. Not even a problem in my book, I understand, I work retail, sometimes stuff happens, and there's a Subway by my work anyhow, just a slight diversion., and I have to eat at work quickly. So I ask them to cancel. "We can't." What? I've had this situation happen before at other subways, they can. A manager needs to do it, but they can. "Would you like herbs and cheese?" No. I don't like that. "Can you wait 30 minutes and pick it up later." I can't, I'm leaving for work, and I'm going to be there until like 11 pm. "Are you in the area?" Nope, I'm in Somers CT. "Can we make it for you tomorrow. I can leave a note for the staff tomorrow?" This has been very annoying at this point, and it would inconvenience me. But, as it happens, I probably would have gotten it Sunday as well in the morning, so I say fine, if it can be ready at 9 am, figuring I'll get there around 9:10 or 9:15 that morning.Well, Sunday I happen to have a very late morning. Happens to all of us. I get to Subway at 9:22, I can perhaps spare a minute or two, it just so happens this is that time I can't spare that minute. Well, the guy plainly says "I didn't know if you were coming or not so I didn't make your order yet." And he goes to start making it. I don't even blame him, this isn't like an online order he just got from me, this is at best, a note without enough information on it telling him to make this sandwich. I hope the guy doesn't get in trouble, it's absolutely not his fault. I tell him: Oh I don't have a minute to spare I'm running late to work. "Oh, I haven't made it yet though." And I'm just shaking my head and tell him it's fine and I walk out. I don't even bother asking for my money back and/or credit, because: 1. This guy is completely different from the two I talked to on the phone that Saturday. He most likely has no idea why he is even making me the sandwich in the first place. 2. I already know they won't even do it since they hassled me about it Saturday. I left that Subway, with no sandwich, and out $10. To be fair, I would have gotten if I had been able to wait, but that was just one of those times where I couldn't. I'm pretty livid though, that's almost stealing from me. I'm a supervisor at my retail job,, I get these situations and we're not supposed to give money back. But 99% of the time, we can at least credit something back they didn't get to do on their card to spend elsewhere at our place. I wouldn't even be upset if they told me they could only give me credit for the store back. Literally, whether they gave me my money back, or gave me a gift card or something, I would have spent it the very next day. And the guy probably would have made the order, because it would have pinged as an incoming online order, so he would have reason to believe I'm coming in. I know it's none of the people I interacted with, because I'm a supervisor and I work in retail, I understand it comes from upper management. But at what point is this worth it? I spend weekly here $50-70, not even kidding. Over $10. That they would have gotten anyways. I hope it was worth it, I can just go to the Subway by my work which...
Read moreI ordered online on 7/7/23 at 4pm for a 5:30 pm pickup. I was working a 12 hour shift at my hospital & so I had my husband pick up our small order of 2 six inch grinders. That’s it.. no meal, just two baby six inch grinders. When my husband arrived it wasn’t even made yet & the male worker said it wasn’t done because they were busy. Not true because my husband was there a good 5 minutes and saw for himself that it was Not Busy.. but busy or not, I had ordered 1.5 hours in advance. The female worker according to my husband was on point but the guy appeared lazy. I even tipped $5 for a $17 order cuz I believe everyone deserves payment for hard work.. well, I want the tip $$ back & I’ll never do business at this location. If ppl want jobs then work.. if u are unable to work then stay broke cuz lazy ppl...
Read moreJust like any other subway. I live close by and I actually prefer to go to this one out of any other one. The staff was nice and looked like they were just recently hired and I think they did an amazing job on my order. Also there was a rude customer and don't seem like the manager was in at that moment or maybe he was, he kept complaint about price or something while there is a big sign that would of literally answered his question but he decided to act like it wasn't there but the 2 female workers handled that situation very professionally while I waited to pay. I ended up telling the rude customer that id like to pay while you figure out what your gonna do and. But very pleasant experience even though someone will always have an issue...
