I met with Ashley weekly for over a year at the recommendation of my therapist, and I’m so grateful I did. At first I was resistant—intellectually I knew what I “should” do, but I couldn’t put it into practice. Ashley met me exactly where I was: she supported me, validated my experience, and gently pushed me out of my comfort zone so I could face my fears. Rather than simply telling me to “eat more” and “exercise less” like other professionals had, she helped me set small, concrete goals that felt challenging and uncomfortable—but absolutely doable.
This is more than a job for Ashley—she truly cares. We celebrated wins together and worked through setbacks with compassion. She checked in during the week so I never felt alone or like a burden. She honored my choice to remain vegan and designed a meal plan that accommodated my allergies while providing adequate nutrition for my activity level.
Before Ashley, I was terrified of food and didn’t trust my body. She helped me learn to love, trust, and respect myself again—so I could truly live, not just survive. Therapy was important too, but I honestly believe Ashley saved my life. If you’re struggling with disordered eating or anxiety around food and exercise, Ashley is someone you want...

Read moreI had the pleasure of working with Ashley during the end phases of my eating disorder recovery. At the time of our first meeting I was really struggling to overcome fear foods and establish “normal” eating. I can now happily say that I have achieved food freedom as a result of working with her.
Ashley guided me through an informed, gentle nutrition approach that still allowed for a constructive look at my intuitive eating patterns. Under Ashley’s guidance I felt self-assured that I was heading in the right direction with my recovery and not as far away from food freedom as I thought. Through the whole process Ashley was so supportive, she made me feel safe, seen and understood through my discomfort.
