Update: Shop Called back and apologized for inconvenience and oversight. They have a great selection and this stuff happens. Everyone is human and makes mistakes, they offered to replaced the juices and made this right. Give the shop a shot, I certainly will be giving them another chance.
CAREFUL WITH THIS SHOP! I went into this shop with HIGH hopes as I saw an old style vape bar with plenty of juices on the wall⦠I thought It was a diamond in the rough I discovered ā¦..that was at least until I got home. This is when I discovered one juice (The Blueberry JamMonster) had a born on date of 10/08/2020 and I bought this on 12/30/2023. These juices are have a two year shelf life before they are no longer safe to use. So the blueberry JamMonster Born On 10/08/2020 would expire 10/08/2022. That makes this juice 1 year and 45 days past its expiration. I contacted monster vape labs to confirm this and wrote the owner of the shop to see if he would make this right. Mistakes happen, weāre human so I was hoping to hear from him as most owners would be outraged they sold a customer expired juices and used batteries. As each day passes, for the shop to ignore my voicemail and email informing him that: ā¢the $100 I spent for batteries and two vape juices one expired more than a year and the other born March 2022 -expiring on March 2024ā¦Iād hope the owner would have called to make this rightā¦.still no response.
Hopefully I can update this review to a positive experience if I hear back but that seems doubtful at this point.
Oh also as I was getting rung out, he said that he ācharges all the batteries for his customers because what are you going to sell not charged batteries?ā Which at the time I didnāt think anything of but ā¦after the expired juices, and one battery box tab being torn off, Iād bet heās using the batteries personally and then swapping out the new ones with the ones he uses when shipments arrive. Ā Ā Ā Read moreI have been going to Puffin for the past month. Initially, I was treated well as a customer who has spent roughly $350 at this establishment. I was sold a piece that leaked non-stop (Kanger Tech Sub-box Mini). Upon purchasing the product I wasn't told that the vaporizer "needed" to be upright at all times. This is impossible if you plan to take your vape anywhere (pocket, or purse for you ladies). Of the two vaporizers that I purchased from this place, the $85 one leaked for 3 straight weeks (out of all of them, which are stored on their sides). After week two the owner, unwillingly replaced the seals on the tank, giving me a huge attitude in the process. After another week of the unit leaking out plenty of money worth in e-liquid, I took it back to the owner at Puffin to finally return it.
The Owner was unprofessional to say the least giving me an attitude, and even blamed me for the leaking product he sold me. He stated that it leaked because the tank was stored on it's side. He also stated that myself and my brother are the only ones who had a problem with the tank (my brother's was completed replaced by the owner [same unit]) . I purchased one of Puffin's cases which like an eye glass case, holds all your vape accessories (you guessed it on their side). If you ask me, that is a clear design flaw, and a dysfunctional product (the unit and case). This does not fall on the customers shoulders nor was the attitude warranted.
On top of that, the owner was extremely disrespectful towards me (a returning customer none the less).
I highly recommend you find another establishment to spend your hard earned money at. God forbid you are sold a defective product like myself and my brother. I will no longer be returning back to this place, and I suggest that you...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI went in there about a month ago knowing nothing about the products and the only knowledge being what I wanted out of the experience. Paul helped me first and was great at explaining how everything worked and what would best suit my needs. I've been back there roughly 2 times per week to buy various products and have MANY questions answered with no attitude or pushy salesmanship from either Al or Paul. I hang out for a while, try different liquids and talk with the guys. Great, relaxing atmosphere and I have no interest in going anywhere else. I saw a bad review on here and I gotta say, any trouble I have had with the Kangertech subox has been my own doing. AL and Paul have helped me and educated me just fine. Their attitude is nothing but extremely pleasant and even more helpful. If they're telling you what to do or not to do, you have to listen. I've since bought several products there and after following the instructions have always served me well. If anybody gets an attitude from those two guys or any customer that may be there at the time, then I'm sure it's well deserved. Some people go through life complaining and refusing to listen to advice given by others with more knowledge and that's only hurting themselves. I watched a woman come in today and wanted to exchange something and they did it with no problem and we're happy to do so. I will continue to shop, hang out and talk to the friendly staff and customers (I was there for two and a half hours today!) at this store only because it has everything I need for a great experience.
