Best experience I have ever had in a video game store. The clerk was able to answer all my questions about how to play Minecraft from different devices without having to split screen also able to go over different functions features of the Nintendo switch that we recently got. I think her name was Marni. She is hands down far more experienced, smarter, and knows how to communicate to the public than any Best Buy clerk. I bought stuff just because how helpful she was. She did a great job upselling the membership from free to $15/annual fee. It was a better deal for me but the way she pitched it I was impressed as a former sales manager of a bunch of Sharks. They have previously played games for sale. Prices on new games were cheaper than Target and Best Buy. I will go back even though it is out of my way because how knowledgeable that clerk was. I stopped at this Game Stop store today and a Nintendo Rep was their showcasing a new product called Nintendo Labo. It's a virtual reality type game that connects to your virtual set. I did not get the chance to play, but the other gamers in the store did. They reported that it was an awesome virtual reality game. I got all types of free items from Nintendo such as pencils, erasers and a puzzle. They had other items, but I just wanted select things. But this Game Stop was a cool store. They are a gamers haven for all video game systems, gamed, toys and apparel. They buy back game systems and games as well then refurbish them for resale. Josef was the employee that was supposed to take care of a large trade. Josef did not even ask me if I was a pro reward member paying a member ship fee to get 10% on trades. When I called back to see why I didn’t get 10% back that is advertised on the website he told me my pro membership was expired AFTER completing the transaction but had pretended to add the account and pretended I was getting the 10% for the game pro account. Then after I told him I want the 10% and he should have told me I would have renewed he proceeded to argue and tell me that because the transaction was cash he cannnot help me.
