I had an unfortunate experience yesterday at this store. I had purchased a pair of dress pants that the first time I wore them, they started falling apart. I only had them on for 2 hours and there were very visible pulls and tears in the fabric and were unwearable. I took them back to this store with the tags in hand and the receipt, and I couldn’t believe how unhelpful and arbitrary the experience was. The manager just kept telling me over and over that if the tags are removed, they cannot be returned, no matter what. I tried to show her the pants and she kept interrupting me and saying there was nothing she could do. She never even looked at the pants. I was sold a defective product and instead of talking to me about it and helping me find a solution, she was rude and condescending. I asked what other options I had, and she quickly shut me down again, repeating that once the tags are removed, it cannot be returned. No exceptions. I couldn’t believe that a big company like Nordstrom’s offers no recourse at all for a situation like this. And I was shocked at how rudely I was treated. I decided to call Nordstrom’s customer service to not only report my embarrassing experience with this store, but to try to find some solution, and they could not have been nicer on the phone. They quickly offered to send me a free shipping label to send the pants back for a full refund. They also assured me that the manager’s behavior was wrong. They “no returns’ policy should and does have its exceptions, and that this manager should have been more flexible in this situation and at least helped me find another path to a solution and not been...

Read moreCustomer service is nonexistent here. I mean nada. No one said a single word to me and I was in this store for almost two hours and in the dressing room twice. I had to let myself into a dressing room (the associates seen me standing waiting for a room) and find where to place my clothes after trying on. Associates walked right past me several times. I’ve noticed in places like this only men and older women are asked if they need help. The associates never offer younger women help because they are too busy being catty. They will follow you around to make sure you aren’t stealing but will not offer any assistance. I spent $400 in this store I feel I should have just went to the mall. The store is an unorganized mess. Nordstrom Rack in Brentwood, MO is much better. Maybe call them for...
