My family and I went to Panda Express in Manchester Missouri yesterday. Everything was fine until we were leaving. An employee was mopping the floor and had her bucket blocking the door. My thought was so that no one would walk in that door and slip because there were no signs warning that the floor was wet. No big deal, we can use the other door where she had mopped her way to. We started to head that direction and she told us to go the other way. I reminded her and even showed her that she had placed the bucket in front of the door to block it. She then decided to argue this with me. She came running outside after we were on the sidewalk and yelled "ALL YOU WHITE PEOPLE ARE HORRIBLE PEOPLE!". I went back inside to talk to the manager. She yelled that again and said that she doesn't care if she loses her job. She is clearly entitled to her opinion no matter how ridiculous it is. A few things that I know for certain, there are several other places to take my business. If Panda Express supports the views of that employee, I don't have to do business there. I have reached out to the General manager via email and am willing to work this out with her. Lastly, one other thing that I can do about this is exactly what I am doing now. People should know about this and can make their decisions based on experiences. This portion of this review is an edit. Today, Monday (6/5/2023) I received a phone call from the General manager about this issue. We had a good conversation about this. She apologized for this happening to us. All of this I am thankful for, honestly I wasn't expecting that. My point here is that I want to be fair with my review. She told me that there will be action taken with this employee and I expressed my thoughts of that to her (There's no need to go into that however). She did tell me that the issue will be dealt with. Read moreUsed to love the location but my last visit made me not want to return. I ordered online a couple of hours in advance. When I went to pick up the order it was wrapped ready to go. When I got home my wife noticed it was missing a side and an entree. She called and they said they would replace it, but we werent able to get back by the time they closed. We asked if we could pick it up the next day and they said sure, they would make a note and we could get a free plate the next evening. So I went back the next evening, today 8/12/20, and made the plate order. When I went to pay I explained the situation, showed my receipt and the associate said she had to talk to her manager for approval. The manager comes over and immediately assumes I'm trying to get free food without paying. She tells me I should have returned the wrong food, even though I explained that the items were missing, not wrong. She told me she wouldnt give me any free food. After another minute trying to explain she demanded the name of the associate I had talked to the night before. I did not know since my wife talked to them & the manager finally asked what was wrong on the ticket, stormed off and came back with a bag and said to have a nice night. I've never had such poor customer service, I felt like I was being interrogated in front of the whole store and I was just trying to fix their mistake. Left got home to find they charged more than what the menu says on the board. I ordered a plate with Chow Mein and Black Pepper Steak. The Menu above the workers says $9.40 for a plate (that’s 1 side and 2 entrees. My receipt says $9.40 + $1.25 + another $1.25 for Black Pepper Steak. If you charge more for one entree than another then you should reflect that price on the Menu above when your standing in line so people can see that. Second, hardly any Steak in the Black Steak Pepper entree. Mainly all vegetables. If I wanted a vegan plate I would have ordered that. Third the Chow Mein was also sad and pathetic as the same result incurred. Hardly any Chow Mein but plenty of that lettuce filler you use to take advantage of the customer. Completely ruined my dinner with this experience. I use to enjoy this location but has turned into a “lets get the people through the line quickly and forget about the quality and quantity.
