Very disappointed. I took my already expensive wedding dress here for alterations. The dress was almost perfect- just needed hemmed at the bottom and let out a bit around the bust (I’m talking like an inch- it closed and squeezed just the slightest bit, so just wanted it a little more wiggle room). Bonnie had my dress for 4 months and we were closing in on 3 weeks until the wedding- and she hadn’t had it finished yet. When I finally did go to pick it up and try it on, she didn’t remember me paying her $400- the back wouldn’t even close and she then told me I had gotten really fat and that I should have let her know I gained that much weight. Frustrated, I grabbed the dress and left. I took my dress to my hometown tailor 5 hours away and she revealed Bonnie had taken the bust area IN quite a bit instead of out like we discussed, and the hem job was terrible- looks very chopped up and careless work. I am very frustrated that I paid that much, was that patient, and it turned out like that. Pretty sure she wanted more money out of me and I wouldn’t spend another dime there. So,...

She didn't take any measurements or write down any info and then after a month we had to call and text for a week before she responded. At the next try on when we expected it to be done we had to tell her again what we needed because she had only taken the bodice in slightly and she wanted to just tighten the shoulder straps ( which ends up uncomfortable to wear) instead of taking in other places on the bodice. I could have sewn up sides and straps. I needed her to remake the bodice that was two sizes too big but she never really altered it. So we then came back to try on again and the bustle wasn't done and one of the buttons removed and put at bustle instead of adding different buttons and again I had to tell her what we needed at bodice to make it fit. You're gonna pull up to the address Google told you to go to, once you get there you're going to double check to make sure it's right because you're like "wait.. This is it?" Yes. It's it. You've found the needle in the haystack. You'll go in, talk to a sweet Asian lady to tell her what you'd like and she'll say "okay.. I'll see you later." Later comes when she calls you to tell you it's ready, you arrive back at her shop and you say "OH MY GOODNESS" as you witness the superior tailoring/mending/hemming/literally anythinging that has been done to your garment. You will pay her and upon returning home, scour your closet for anything else you want fit to perfection.
