Panera Bread — Restaurant in Manhattan

I DoorDash a lot from this location, and while the food is usually very good and well prepped, the last few times have been messy and my order has come out wrong. I've been given the wrong drink, or I'll be missing something from my bag, often a baguette or a straw or a spoon. I know things get busy sometimes but Panera isn't necessarily a cheap place to eat. If I'm paying $30+ for something, I feel like having the correct order is a bare minimum.

My boyfriend also went through the drive through today and my bag was missing half of my "you pick two" and my sandwich was messed up. Unfortunately we live on the other side of town and didn't want to drive 15 minutes to get it fixed. I did call to let them know and the assistant manager, Taylor, was very kind and helpful and gave us a comp card to fix the mistake. Employees were very rude. I ordered and walked to the pickup area to wait. After a little while an employee handed me my order. I had to ask for my cup and the employee acted annoyed that I asked for it. I walked away to check my order and noticed my cookie and muffin were missing. I asked the same employee about it and she said “You have to go back to the front to get it”. I said “What, go behind the counter and get it myself?” And she replied “Yes”. I was shocked. I walked back to the front and another employee asked me if I needed something. I told her what the employee told me and she said “I put your order over there.” It was in a different place from my original order. Why do I have to go to multiple places to get my order and why don’t the employees communicate that. And secondly, why are they so damn rude when I’m trying to figure out how to get...

Great food and stuff but need to go back to using the buzzer devices. When the place is packed like the day we went, and people are standing all around talking, you can barely hear the counter call your name when your food is ready, especially when there are people standing right in front of the counter talking loudly. Downgraded to 3 stars because orders are never right, soup with NO croutons and yet keep getting soup with croutons. Bought 2 cookies and one of their branded green teas and the total was $13.57, why? The tea really isn't that good and the name brand isn't worth that price. The prices these places charge is outrageous. You're paying over 20 dollars for a ladel of soup and hand full of lettuce which means your paying for your items plus the orders of two others.
