High Spirits Liquors — Local services in Mankato

I visit this location frequently. So far, I have been content with their selection of beers—from your mainstream beers to your locally crafted. However, the reason for three stars and not five, is the fact that most of the female cashiers have been less than pleasant in their customer service. The final straw that persuaded me to write this review was when I went to go checkout. The young lady at the counter, being so filled with energy with the customers shortly before me, changed her demeanor towards me. She said three things: the amount of my purchase, asked if she can see my ID, (rigorously looking at it and my credit card), and “Have a good night.” I would have been fine with the whole interaction, except that not once did she make eye contact. Furthermore, she was all smiles and giggles with the customers before me. This isn’t the first encounter that I have had like this at this location. Sadly, it is poor customer service. I’d have given this establishment a one star if it isn’t for the gentleman who knows his beers and guides me toward their location with great customer service and knowledge of their products.
