The BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE of any store in the Storrs area. Rebecca and her crew are always friendly, available to help, and appear to recognize everyone who walks in the store. Whether they do or not is unimportant, they make you feel like you are neighbor.

Of course, the great prices in the store on name brand items, much less expensive than nearby stores, really helps the household budget. And if you haven't tried the Clover Valley brand, DG's brand, don't hesitate to do so. I have bought the condensed milk, coffee, marshmallows, cereals, etc. and everything has matched or surpassed the quality of more expensive national brands.

Avoid this place. Had a very bad experience today. Around 7 30 pm. The cashier was confused about the prices. She denied clearence items stating that those things were expensive. There was a clearance in one set of items with blue dots. She denied a few items stating that the items were light blue dots instead of dark blue. First when she saw the cart full she shouted saying there were no bags. The assistant was also not helpful. I went there a few weekz ago during the day and the lay at that time was quite helpful. During Covid 2020 when large stores were out of stock. I found this store and they had what I needed. The young, thin lady with glasses associate was very nice and told me when to come for toilet paper. They provided me toilet paper when places like Walmart, CVS, bigy, price chopper were all sold out to hold me over until I could buy big pack online for fair pandemic pricing. I barely have a reason to go there anymore but if I ever did I look here again.
