The location was convinent for what we needed after a long afternoon at the adventure park. When we arrived (2 adults 1 child) we were seated promptly and asked what we wanted to drink within a few minutes, after this it went downhill, my boyfriend ordered fish and chips and so did the table next to us (they ordered prior to us), about 10-15 minutes later he got delivered his fish and chips and we were told our remaining dishes would be at the table in a few minutes. 2 minutes after he got his food the next table got there food but no fish and chips because come to find out they gave us there food. Now another 10-15 minutes later our remaining food arrives, no salt and pepper on the table, I asked the waitress who was not very attentive this whole time for parmesean cheese and salt and pepper and the dressing for my daughters salad, the waitress then repeatedly kept going back over to another table looking at ours but not bringing the condiments we asked for. Come to find out her family was at That other table. Finally after another 10 minutes of waiting for condiments I asked another server for the check and boxes, our waitress then comes over and says " sorry its taken me so long, I have no excuse" to my boyfriend. I advised the manager as to what happened and advised him that my dinner had a horrible texture to the chicken and was inedible and he took off my daughters kids meal off the check and then an additional 10$ but my meal alone was $25 and my daughter couldnt even eat half of hers because everything that was supposed to be on the plate wasnt. No bread was served That was listed on the menu. Finally to end things we get boxes, the waitress finally brings over a dressing container and it wasnt even what we ordered. Very disappointing for a mother on mothers day when I just wanted to enjoy not having to cook, but I would have had a better experience at home cooking...
Read moreThis was the second time we have visited the Red Rock Cafe Restaurant and man were we disappointed. For the second time, we have experienced inadequate service and issues regarding the pricing of our meals/sides. Our first time at the Red Rock Cafe, my girlfriend and I ordered a large specialty pizza with half one type of specialty pizza and the other half another one. This establishment charged us for 2 large specialty pizzas as if they were two separate pies. We asked the waiter if this was possible and they said that would absolutely not be a problem. If we had known this, we would have just ordered two separate pizzas. When we addressed this with the manager and waiter, they said that is how they typically charge for a half and half specialty pizza. Simply outrageous. Aside from the spotty service and the pricing issue, the food was fantastic, thus the 2 star review. We decided to try the Red Rock Cafe one more time this past Friday night. To our amazement, the same spotty service and pricing issues still pursued. We waited 20 minutes at our table to even be seen and another 40 minutes after that until they even took our order for food. We were astounded when we were charged an extra $4 for marinara sauce. At no point were we told that marinara sauce would be an extra charge and that it would be more than the cost of a drink. It is very sad because we absolutely love the food here but it honestly feels like we are nickled and dimed every time we come into this establishment. This has nothing to do with the pandemic at this point and has everything to do with inadequate customer service. Management has demonstrated that they simply do not care about their customers being happy with their experience even when it is simply their fault. Moral of the story, back end runs fantastic but the front end customer service and wait staff...
Read morecame here with a few friends for an early dinner. it was dark and a little grungey inside, but seemed relatively clean - until we sat down. the menus were sticky and all 4 of us were overwhelmed by the amount of options there were. we ordered the mac and cheese bites for an appetizer and they were mediocre at best. they tasted exactly like velveeta (which may be good if you enjoy velveeta, but personally i am not a fan. especially when i am out to eat). for my entree i ordered a buffalo chicken grinder, and i was immediately not appealed upon seeing it. from looking at it, it appeared to be mostly lettuce, but i was not upset about this as i just took a little bit of it off. i WAS upset, however (or maybe slightly nauseated is a better word), about the several pieces of bone i chomped down on when i bit into the chicken. the first time i just spit it out and continued eating, but the second and third time was enough for me. i ended up removing the chicken and lettuce entirely and just eating cheese and buffalo sauce on a piece of bread. without the lettuce and chicken on it it actually wasn’t bad, but at this point i was a little grossed out from all the hard pieces i had bitten into, so i didn’t end up eating much more. to top off this sub par experience, when i turned on the water in the restroom to wash my hands after i went, the tiniest dribble of water came out of the faucet. it was barely enough to rinse the soap off my hands, let alone properly wash them. i do have to say, the service was good; we were seated immediately upon our arrival, our waitress was very attentive and sweet, and our food was out of the kitchen relatively quick. however, the service doesn’t mean much when the food is...
