CVS — Local services in Mansfield

Went to the doctor Monday. The doctor sent in a prescription to this CVS. A little while later I received a message from the CVS that they were contacting the doctor for an alternative medication. On Tuesday I had heard nothing back, so I tried calling. I was looped around a frustrating automated phone system and I couldn't seem to get to the part where I could leave a message. I went down to the actual pharmacy. I apologized to the pharmacist for coming in instead of calling and she interrupted me with a curt response about how I was supposed to just leave them a message. I explained that I had tried unsuccessfully and that I just wanted to see why I needed an alternative medication. Her response to me was that the medication doesn't come in the form prescribed(I know it does because I found information about it online). Wednesday came and I still had heard nothing, so I called my doctor's office. The doctors office said that they had requested either the cream or the ointment, but it looks like the cream was on backorder. She said she would put the prescription through again. A few minutes later I received the same text message saying that they were contacting the doctor for an alternative. The doctors office then attempted unsuccessfully to contact the pharmacy. I then asked if they could send the prescription to Walgreens instead. Within 4 minutes of that phone call, I received a message from Walgreens that they were processing the order and even a picture update of the medication that according to CVS "didn't exist" I have included pictures in my review so I don't sound like a ranting person that just makes stuff up....

Pharmacist is negligent, incompetent, rude, and arrogant. I’ve been dealing with an issue with them not being able to see my medication for the past 6 months and every time I call corporate they are able to see my script no problem. Constantly having to have my doctor resend my prescription every month is extremely inconvenient. No one at corporate can understand or explain why the pharmacy cannot see my script either. I will be filing a report with the BBB and switching over to Walgreens in Willimantic because CVS can’t seem to do their job or explain what causes the confusion. Other people I have spoken with also have experienced problems at this CVS with the same exact pharmacist regarding prescriptions that effect the quality of life as well as necessary medication that if it is not taken can result in death. I’ve been going to this pharmacy for 2 decades on and off and this year has brought forth insurmountable problems and the repercussions have effected both my mental health and overall job performance due to the amount of time out of my days this has taken me to get no resolution to never have to experience this problem again. 0/10 would NEVER recommend this pharmacy or any other CVS to anyone. And if you have to speak to a manager Keri/Carry at corporate, I apologize because she disconnected the call when I was halfway through explaining my situation. Completely...

This is the worst CVS I've ever used!! The pharmacist are all very very rude and do not care how you feel or about any mistake that made. Very clear they're all there for paycheck. The turnover there is absolutely disgusting. Nobody wants to work there especially with the pharmacist that they have. Twice I received the wrong medication and once I received the wrong instruction. My doctors have called in medication many times and then they say they never received it. I also went in last summer and had two vaccines I had an awful reaction to them in both pharmacist on the line told me that they were not able to help me when I turned around to walk away they shut up the pharmacy to go to lunch, pretty clear I was interfering with their lunch time. That was pretty bad considering they're all trained to help people that have reactions to vaccines but eating lunch and not caring if I was going to make it or not Was more important. Anybody looking for a pharmacy I beg you please do not go here You will be so sorry all the doctors around this area have nothing good to say about the CVS I should have listened but close to my home, now I have to drive 15 minutes away because of how bad this place is! Shame on this place and the company letting it be ran like that. I want to get this place zero stars but it's not allowed, but my opinion this place is a zero, run stay...
