Do not take your child here if they do not like haircuts, or if they have special needs. I took my Autistic son here for a haircut and I will never take him back. My son does not do well with haircuts, as it can be too much for him going on. He can move around a lot, but I typically keep him on my lap and I try to occupy him. He does ok for a few minutes then he will get upset and need a little break. I understand how that can get frustrating for a hairdresser in a rush, but be professional and have some patience for God sake! What I experienced with the woman who cut my son's hair, was absolutely awful. I only wish I got her name. So I showed her the cut I wanted my son to have, and she says, "ok" and starts the cut. Every time she has to stop, she huffs and puffs and rolls her eyes. Finally, I couldnt take anymore of her attitude and I said, "He is Autistic and he is doing the best he can!" She got a little more patient after that, but still was annoyed every time she had to stop. Now, I do not expect my son's haircuts to come out perfect in the least, because he is always moving around, but I do expect the cut to come out somewhat decent. My son's hair was choppy and butchered. I will never take him here again. We will go back to Becky's Salon for Kids. If you cannot have patience and understanding for children, you shouldn't...
Read moreNever in my life I'll visit this specific location again. Unless they offer me smth to fix what they already did. During the process the master was almost beating my head with the comb - absolute no sense of limit, full absence of tenderness towards someone's body. The scissors seemed poorly sharpened and pulled out my hair pretty painful from time to time. The result itself is awful - bunch of uneven areas on the head, the bang looks as if it was selectively cut and does look itself like a comb now...The overall look is weird even though the haircut desired was a pretty basic one. Kinda not surprised that the post-haircut clean and drying was poor itself - I had a terrible sense of hair under my T-shirt after until I got home and rinsed that.
This is the case when it isn't worth asking to fix smth on the go as the result would be even worse when seeing how it goes.
Someone who's doing a haircut should have at least a sense of beauty and doing his job in a more tender, accurate...
Read moreMy daughter went in and gave the hairstylist a specific length to cut. My daughter left crying because it was too short barely reaching her shoulders. When shown to her by the stylist she said it was good but the stylist still continued to cut. The hairstylist also had hair covering her eyes and head lowered so she couldn’t see or else she would’ve stopped and said something. Wasn’t sure what caused the miscommunication but it’s not the first time she’s been there (I stopped going altogether myself as I found a better hair cutting place nearby), and I feel this will be the last for our family. The inconsistent staff and now this debacle right before the holiday weekend is the nail in the coffin. Great Clips is cheaper for a reason, spend the few extra bucks and...
