We used this venue to host a lunch for our daughters christening. We've hosted many events in the past and this by far was the worst and most embarrassing experience we've ever had. I don't even know where to begin. The lack of organization and complete disregard for what was agreed on in the planning phase was beyond belief. If I could give less than one star I would.

We were told the venue would be prepared the day before for us to decorate. When we arrived to decorate nothing was prepared. They told us they would order table cloths in the color my wife specified and they ordered the wrong color. We had to wait 2 hours for the delivery truck to arrive and when it did we found out the order was placed incorrectly.

The hall at the venue can take approximately 150 people but the size of the kitchen cannot accommodate that quantity of people. It took forever for the food to come out. It took over 2 hours for the main course to arrive. I had 2 tables of guest leave without eating! We felt very embarrassed that are guests were treated like this.

They didn't hire enough staff to accommodate our party. It took forever for the waiters to get anything done.

The food we agreed on that would be served was not what was brought out.

The staff is very impolite and does not know how to treat their guests warmly and respectfully. I was obviously very frustrated but as much as possible didn't want my guests to feel my frustrations as I didn't want to kill the vibe of the party. In their many failed attempts of trying to appease me the staff kept approaching me in front of my guests to address my complaints. I told them repeatedly to pull me to the side to speak with me and they didn't do that at all. Having those type of conversations in front of your guests, in my opinion, is inappropriate.

Needless to say I would never, even if it were for free, host another event at this venue. Its a shame because the food tastes good but the lack of organization and disrespect I received was so bad that I don't want to step foot in this restaurant again. It was evident that my frustrations were warranted as the owner asked the lead manager of my event to leave work due to the poor job he did of managing my event. We were extremely disappointment with the service and will not return. Food was average. We had lunch reservations or mother’s day, we arrived with our party of 7 and were seated within few minutes. Once seated, the waitress asked us if we wanted our bottle of wine opened and we said yes. Our bottle was opened promptly and she went off to get wine glasses. 5-7+ minutes later she came back with glasses and left. We were served no water, no menus were given and as we waited another 10 minutes or so another person came by with a basket of bread. We asked him if he could send our server with menus and water (at this point we had waited 15-20 mins). She finally showed up with no water or menus and proceeded to tell us that they will not be using menus and they had a pre-fixed course for either $35/p or $45/p. It was the same cost for adults and kids (we had 2 kids in our party) and she was not able to articulate the difference between the two except that one came with seafood and one did not. It was assumed that we knew all about Mediterranean food and she made no attempt to explain any item on the menu. Our kids were getting impatient so we decide to go with $45 option. We had to ask for water AGAIN. Our food came out haphazardly and once again no attempt was made to explain what was being served. We were served a plate of shrimp as part of our appetizer course and we asked if could get more since we had 7 people and were told that 4-8 ppl get one plate and I we had 9 ppl we would have gotten two of everything. It was a bizarre explanation and whole experience was not enjoyable at all. We were told that we will be served Tilapia and Salmon for main course; during main course she came back and said we don’t have salmon today so we are only serving Tilapia.

We had people in our party who had never eaten Mediterranean food so we had to do our best to explain what they were eating. I was not very pleased with the service but I still gave 15% tip and left. The worst part was that the server came running behind me and asked me that 20% was expected since they were sharing the tip with multiple people. I posted a review on yelp related to my experience but was here recently with family visiting from out of town. We got to the restaurant around 830. Restaurant closes at 10, yet we were told kitchen was closing at 9 and they hoped to leave early( i actually asked if they were planning to close early although website states they close at 10.) Restaurant was empty and the attitudes of the workers were on full display!!! We decided to stay but they made sure to make us feel as uncomfortable as possible. Food wasnt bad but unfortunately the service didnt match and I sat there wondering who was preparing my food since the chef left. I was almost afraid to eat what I ordered as it was prepared differently previous times I was there. Thank God none of us got sick from the food! I had planned to go back and speak to a manager in person but probably would have become more irritated. I will NEVER return and will not refer others. I even patronized this restaurant during COVID. Perhaps under new management and sadly for me, my family is still talking about the awful experience. UPDATE TO REVIEW: I didn't want to respond to owners reply, but is the reason that I didn't bother reaching out directly (I knew this is the attitude i'd receive). The 'inconsiderate and ignorant' comment is dismissive (and ignorant in and of itself, quite frankly) and misses the entire point. What was inconsiderate is how the workers treated us and the owners reply speaks for itself (and of course explains why the workers acted as they did.) I stand on what I said. And my thoughts around getting sick had nothing to do with their kitchen cleanliness or preparation, but again, the owner totally missed the point. He/she decided to come at me, not in an apologetic manner, rather than address the real issue. Very sad since i've always appreciated this restaurant, the food, have bought many people here or gave recommendations and supported them during the pandemic (no more!) Again, I stand on what I said.
