I cannot express enough gratitude for the incredible experience my family and I had at Earth Child Tattoo. They truly went above and beyond in every possible way. In a time of deep sorrow, they opened their shop on their closed day just for us, showing immense kindness and empathy.

My family lost my 30 yr old sister, Shawna, in January of 2024. We decided soon after we wanted to get her fingerprints tattooed on us to honor her memory. Unfortunately, another family funeral brought my older sister back from Georgia for unexpected visit in early November. I messaged Earth Child Tattoo to see if they had availability for my family of 6 to get our tattoos while they were in Minnesota. Although booked until next year, Lisa was willing to open her shop on her day off to fit us in. We cannot be more grateful for this gesture. Lisa at Earth Child Tattoo created the most beautiful and meaningful designs that perfectly captured Shawna’s spirit. Each tattoo was a work of art, and the attention to detail was simply astounding.

The shop itself was inviting and clean. The Staff took all necessary sterile measures, ensuring a safe and hygienic environment. From the moment we walked in, my whole family felt comfortable and well taken care of. Lisa, Jaclyn and everyone at Earth Child Tattoo made sure everyone was at ease throughout the entire process. It was my dad’s first time getting tattooed and his experience was excellent. Lisa made sure to explain everything and offer him breaks if he needed it.

The prices were fair, and the quality of the finished tattoos exceeded all our expectations. We left with not just tattoos, but with cherished memories and a sense of peace. I have gotten a few few tattoos over the past couple years from this shop. Jaclyn did such an amazing job and I would rate her 110% on everything. She was so friendly and gave me such perfect tattoos, I could not be happier with the work did. Lisa however gave me a horrible tattoo. Right as I walked in for my appointment I was met with a scowl and wasn't greeted. The entire time she drew up the design she was visibly annoyed and I was treated like a burden for wanting to get a tattoo at my favorite tattoo shop. I was given maybe 2 seconds to look at the design on the tablet and was met with resistance at making some size adjustments and instead of reworking the tattoo to accommodate the right size it was just stretched larger on the screen. During the tattoo process I made a few attempts at small talk since I figured that was normal and was met with general unfriendiness. This was a fairly large tattoo (not to mention expensive but I was more then willing to pay since I was Such a fan of Lisa's work) and the entire tattoo was done in about 45 minutes which is extremely rushed. I contacted Lisa at a later date to discuss the several messed up lines and concerns i had on my tattoo and she argued with me and had to remind me several times about how she's been doing this for years and was extremely condescending to me. Nearly a year later I still have this horrible tattoo and despite following perfect aftercare during the healing process, my tattoo is very textured. None of my other tattoos from other artists are like this. I have shown this tattoo to other artists and they were shocked to see how bad of a job this was. Not the kind of work or attitude id expect from an owner. This is unfortunate because I would love nothing more than to book future tattoos with Jaclyn but I cannot in good faith give any more of my money to...

This was my 4th session with Jaclyn working on a large piece, and as always was a pleasant experience; well, as pleasant as it can be while being jabbed by needles 😁 Jaclyn always listens to what I want, and offers her artistic opinion to help create the best art possible. I would recommend Jaclyn 10 out of 10 times to anyone looking for their first or hundredth tattoo. She is respectful, professional, and is passionate about giving you the best art she can!
