This is the only pharmacy that supposedly never gets medication when a doctor sends it over electronically. The other pharmacy’s were already closed so I had to use CVS. It was a complete nightmare. I started this process of getting the meds at 5:30pm. If my 2 year old wasn’t so sick, I would have waited. He really needed the first dose tonight. First, the tech said they never received the prescription or missed any calls. I was on the phone with the after hours provider when they tried to make contact and the pharmacy wouldn’t pick up. But they got confirmation that the electronic submission went through. Then the tech tells me “oh, the Dr has to leave a VM with the prescription and then when we have time we’ll check it and call them back.” I argued that logic, I already explained it was an after care number and they’re obviously not going to wait 30 mins to get the provider on the line, which she confirmed! So I had to pull to spot (sick 2 year old in the car) call the after hours number for the dr again, after 30-40 mins they finally get the pharmacy on the line. So everything should be good, right? No…. I go to get the meds, waited 30 mins in line, (after they already mixed the prescription, because I watched him do it), the pharmacist comes to the window and says “there’s a discrepancy with the med” I asked what it was, he said “I’d have to talk to the dr. I tried to call the office but they’re closed” no duh, I’ve been trying to get the meds since 5:30. So he says I’ll have to call and have the Dr call again, so … I pull to a spot again. I finally make contact with the after hours doctor after 30-40 more mins, she puts me on hold and she calls again! Verifies that it’s good to pick up. So I go back to the drive thru, I’m 4 cars back inline, wait and when I get to the window the Pharmacist says “we got it sorted out, we’ll have it mixed here in a just a min” it’s been 20 mins now that the Dr said it was good to go and I’ve waited in line. I’m like “great, I’ll wait then.” This tail head says, “you can’t wait in line, you have to circle back around”, I said “there’s 6 cars and I waited; if it’s going to be just a min I’ll wait” he says “you can’t wait, we have to help the other cars circle back around”, He literally said it would take a min… I’m furious at this point, he obviously doesn’t have kids or he doesn’t care. I circled back, waited for 20 more mins to finally get to the window and get the meds. Finally! At 8:30, we get the meds! I didn’t cuss them out, I didn’t become irate but it took everything in me to not pop off in front of the sick 2 year old. I inquired on transferring all our meds to a different pharmacy which they didn’t seem happy about, but after today I will never fill anything with this...
Read more11/062025, 215 to 443 pm , Had the experience to use this pharmacy as new to the area. I will say it will be my last . Went through drive thru requesting medications prescribed and to give paperwork , due to this being VA filled medicines. CVS is in VA network ) told they were not ready and did not want my card for filing through VA , but would expedite and would take 30 mins or less … waiting 45 in parking lot (no call or text) went inside to ask about medicines told again they were not ready and would expedite AGAIN, same conversation with a different rep and told her they were expedited almost an hour ago through drive thru. Sit down in waiting room awaiting medicine for another 20 to 30 mins. One medicine came up but not the second medicine and was told to sit down again and they would expedite the second medicine. After approximately 2 hours reading get my medicines told my cost of medicines , told the rep it was VA and here was my card to cover medicines. Told I have to go to intake and give to another rep, needless to say that was the most inconsiderate and down right waste of time , she didn’t care couldn’t be bothered and said I had to pay or not get medicine. Felling a little overwhelmed and starting to get some of my mental and keeping it in check , I told her I will go back and get my card and pay. Came back in to pay ! Told now I have to get back in line of 5 people to pay at different counter …now after 2 hours plus finally have my medicine!!!! I have never seen such a dysfunctional non caring pharmacy as this and will never return for anything. CVS , it’s disgusting if you treat your customers this way , let alone a veteran who suffers from PTSD and had to endure the rudeness and unprofessional and unapologetic demeanor. Oh, and not to forget, seems that everybody was more interested in socializing with friends and have Conversations with their peers about their life happenings than dealing with customers, unless they were friends that were coming to get medicines filled. As I personally witnessed a conversation go on for 15 minutes after getting medicine while people are awaiting in line.CVS DO BETTER OR...
Read moreI cannot adequately express my disappointment in this location. My insurance requires me to use them, and here are the issues I consistently have with this CVS location: I have had the same prescriptions and savings cards and each refill it's somehow like it's all brand new information and we have to start all over again EVERY TIME. These aren't one-offs. I've been on 2 of these medications for 4+ years. Still have to go inside and sort it 10/12 refills. The techs on the phone are sometimes helpful but not often, and now you can't even talk to a person without leaving a voicemail, and the whip cream on the pie today was to wait for the call back for her to tell me to come in and fix it. It's an issue of inadequate staffing, lack of training and incompetence. On 3 occasions in the last year they have shorted medicine. Last time it was 8 pills out of a bottle that was pre-labeled and sealed that had been open prior to dispensing to me. COUNT YOUR MEDICATIONS. Wait times are excessive, especially in drive through. 20 or more minutes the last three visits.
I get it, they are busy. They have a high turn over. It's the lack of communication and zero connection with long term customers that seals the deal for me. You'd think after this many times fixing an issue someone might, idk, put a note on the file, as I've suggested? They've definitely...
