ALDI — Local services in Marion

Store is usually clean and has great customer service. Sometimes the isles can be crowded if you go during the peak hours but the flow does move quickly. I had to drop my opinion on the level of care at the registers...they have now added the self checkout if you are not paying with cash. I can't stand this level of customer service because generally you don't receive any when you do the work. If a business is going to make you check yourself out then they should give a discount on the order you ring up yourself. That means that business gets paid for you to walk in that store, have 0 interactions with anyone in that store, and profit more money because they didn't have to pay you or anyone else to get your money. ALDI is the only grocer I go to. Their prices are the lowest in the area and if you are someone on limited income this place is perfect. Their selection of vegetarian and vegan products grow by the day and their selection keeps getting more refined and better quality year after year. The employees are very nice and get you checked out in seconds. I like how big of selection of bags they have that you can buy to put your products in. From a basic brown bag to bags that have the snapped tops the designs on the non brown bags are nice. While I do go to Target to get some more foreign (mostly Asian products) the rest of my shopping is done here.

The worst store I've ever been to the employees are the rudest people I've ever meet they dont know where nothing in the store is they tried to make me go to the back of the line when I was in check out because I had a qurastion and they didn't have time to answer it then I had two separate orders with two different carts and the cashier mixed all my order up and mixed it together and when I asked him to keep it separate he threaten to cancel my order and make new go in the back oof the line because he didn't have time the store is so unorganized you have to dig through stuff to find what you need because everything is just thrown together don't ever go to aldi in marion Illinois worst store ever and...
