I ordered a venti iced matcha green tea lemonade around 1pm on March 26, 2018. Neither of the baristas knew how to make it. They called what Iām guessing was their manager and asked for assistance which I donāt mindāhowever they both remarked about how gross it looked while making it and said āthereās no way this stuff can taste goodā. They then asked me what it tasted like. I asked them if they had tried Sbucks green tea as it sort of tastes like that. Neither of them had. I asked if they no longer require employees to test taste everything during training and they said sometimes and remarked how gross the espresso shot was they had to take. š āš»
I find this absolutely pitiful as Starbucks prides themselves on consistency and quality of training. Youāre prices are HIGH and I expect quality of service and product to be high as well. This comes down to a managerial failātrain and support your baristas! These girls have zero idea what they are doing or how to act professional. I watched them give away what was supposed to be an iced caramel macchiato to a customer that looked like a very weak and watery latte- no caramel drizzle, no espresso on top- pretty sure it was iced coffee...

She seemed very irritated we were there while she was trying to close up. She even went as far as slamming the light switches off right after taking our order then slamming things around the counter and sink as she was making the beverage. Then another customer walks up while she was making ours and simply asked for a water . She never replied or acknowledged him. She prepared his water and placed it on the counter without letting him know it was ready. We had to let the other customer know his water was ready! Iāve worked in customer service before, yes it is very irritating to be trying to close up for the day while still having to assist customers. But this is NO way to act. She was basically having a temper tantrum right in front of us. I will not be coming back to this Starbucks. When we finally could order, it was rung up incorrectly (wrong sizes and wrong drinks). I've had mochas several times, and whatever they made us was not that, which is ridiculous because it is a simple core drink (former barista here, so I know it is not difficult).
