CVS Pharmacy — Local services in Marksville

My review is about the pharmacy not the actual store. CVS has to be the worst place to fill a prescription ever! On maintenance meds like blood pressure, antidepressants, etc they do ok. It's when you have an rx from your Dr for ANY type of pain medicine, they are always out of it or waiting for their order to be delivered, or they say "oh let me see if we can even fill this". Excuse me, my Husband and I are not on any list for abusing pain medications. I don't appreciate the way they treat you just because you are getting pain pills. I've even had on of the pharmacists refuse to fill my rx for my pain meds because she didn't think I needed it yet. It was time to fill and pick up all our meds including my pain pill, so I just wanted to pick everything up in one trip. I even called my insurance company to confirm, and they said yes it could be filled at that time. I had to fuss at her and tell her I needed my medicine filled so I could pay and get out of there and yes, I'd be calling corporate about her. Our health insurance company, at that time, forced us to use CVS pharmacy. Since having a new insurance company we are able to use a locally owned pharmacy now and I couldn't be happier. It's a good feeling to shop local and leave the big box robot companies alone. I've not been back to any...

Carl was very rude, should be fired for the way he spoke to me. He needs to be fired!!! Transferred meds to Walmart where I was spoken to with respect not like I'm trash on...
