I took my car to Marlette gas and oil after I broke down in Marlette. I called John (who put new brakes on a while back) and asked him if he could tell me what I needed. I called back on the following Monday to ask what was needed to fix my car. He didn’t call back. I called again Tuesday and spoke with him, asking again what was needed to fix my car. Long story short, repairs were made WITHOUT my authorization to the time of $131.24. I had told him that I needed an estimate to turn in to my caseworker. When I came today, 16MAR22, to pick up the estimate I was told by Angela that I owed for repairs. I spoke with the owner, Scott, explaining that I had NOT authorized or signed to have repairs completed. He told me he didn’t care snd that I gave them a verbal authorization. NOT true!!!!! I never signed or agreed to the repairs. They are keeping my key and won’t release my car unless I pay for what I did not authorize. Horrible customer service!!!! Then I find out that John is not even the mechanic...terrible place to take your vehicle. Not nice people either. Very, very...

Worst experience ever. Took a BRAND NEW skid steer tire/rim assembly in to get a leaky valve stem replaced. (They also confirmed) upon disassembly, their tire guy completely destroyed the bead on my new carsile skid steer tire I just mounted, and blamed it on me. Was forced to buy a new tire/rim combo that was guaranteed to fit. However, I now have mismatched tires/rims and offsets. I will never be using Marlette oil and gas, and will be sure to spread the word at how unprofessional this business is....

Doesn’t matter if you need propane or tires mounted, this is not the place to go. They will knowingly let you run out of propane and they will damage your rims. Not only that but they will mount right through the stickers if they are on the bead. When you try to contact the service manager or general manager they will both dodge your calls. I will start going out of my way to inform people to skip over this place when in search of any of the services...
