We recently moved to Marlette, and after 2 months of receiving packages just fine. Suddenly the past month they don't even attempt to deliver packages. They leave our packages at the post office. I have been told that they are not allowed to deliver packages if they can't turn around on our grass. I have been receiving packages my entire life and never had a circle driveway or had mail carriers drive on my grass, NEVER!! I have always loved my mail carriers and appreciate them so much for what they do, I give them gifts and cards water, ect. But never in my 50+ years of receiving mail have I ever had a mail carrier refuse to deliver because they can't drive on my grass. I know it's a small town and in the country, and most people would say who cares it's just grass, but I don't want to have torn up grass from a mail carrier getting stuck on it or tire marks all over my front yard. It's really simple, back in, drop off and drive out, ups, fed ex, and dhl all have no problem doing it and we have great relationships and conversations with all the drivers as well. We even know all their names, and gave them all tips ect. We know how hard carriers work to get the packages to the addresses on time ect. The postal service shouldn't even be allowed to take packages if the carriers aren't allowed to deliver them. We are paying for a package to be delivered, I would expect to NOT have to go pick it up if I paid for it to be delivered, it should be delivered at least to the mailbox...

Are you really that terrible of a driver that you cannot use the turnaround like a normal person? Calling to report it again today and the next stop is the postmaster general if they can’t follow simple...
Read moreThis is frustrating. As Marlettle post office often leaves packages at my garage door so when you drive out you don’t see it. When asked about this happening their commented was we didn’t know not to leave it there. Really because when it opens and you back up you will not see it hence why the package is crushed. But they take zero responsibility for this once they leave it in a...
