I purchased a brand new kitchen table from orleans furniture which wasnt cheap and it had damage on the table and chairs. They swapped out the table but didnt have the chairs in stock so they tried to bring me the floor model chairs which were worse than the ones i had so i told A.J that i didnt want those chairs. My chairs have nicks,scratches,and random holes where it looks like they were about to drill and after they did it realized that it was the wrong spot. Then he said it would take months for the new ones to come in so i said ok i will wait for the new chairs and aj said oh no i cant sell those chairs when the new ones come in. So he offered me $100 back on the set which i thought wasnt enough for damage on a brand new table and chairs and aj got really rude with me and said it looks like nothing is going to make you happy then hung up on me. I called back and he wouldnt get on the phone. I went to orleans furniture a few days later and told aj that i will take the $100 because i did get a hundred discount when i bought the brand new table and they werent going to do anything else about it anyways. Take it or leave it. So i asked aj if he can at least get me touch up paint and he said let me see what i can find. That is the least he can do when i have damaged chairs. I figured i can touch them up myself. Now i have been trying to get in touch with aj for a while and he is either not there or they ask me to leave a message and he doesnt return my calls. If any of your furniture is damaged they will give you the run around and not want to do anything else about it when you dont agree with what they offer. Also, when the delivery guys put the new table together they left bolts sticking out, stripped almost all of the bolts, and one of the drawers were sticking but i got my husband to fix it. Read moreOur sales rep was extremely friendly and had a great personality. He was very helpful and even gave us a little discount at checkout. The delivery & set-up men, Moheeb & Wilmer, were very professional, and very friendly and knowledgeable. I didn’t like the mess that was left for me to deal with, though. ALL OF THE BOXES & PACKAGING, ETC., was left on my carport, inside of the fence, and in front of the gate. I wasn’t aware that they had left the mess until they were already in their truck and pulling away. This is much too much for me to move. I will have to pay someone to remove it for me. I think they should’ve at least asked me where I would like the trash to be left. I cannot even let my dog out in the yard now, because that trash is holding my gate open, and it’s too heavy for me to move. Update: I called the store to see if this was customary to leave the trash at the home owner’s residence. Apparently, it is, but when I explained to them the situation, they did tell me that they will send someone to pick it up, at no charge to me, as a courtesy. They did say that the reps were supposed to ask me where I would like the trash to be left, and that was not asked. However, they had a long day with one of their trucks breaking down, and lots of rain. I have bought furniture at this store for many years, and I like them. If they come pick up the trash tomorrow, I will still continue to use them, and probably pay for delivery service. In the past, I had always picked up my furniture. Read moreI will not and would not buy anything else from here, from the lack of customer service to the rude individuals that they have at the front desk Not to mention, they also lack professionalism. These people don’t have any urgency for other people's time. It took them an hour to bring two chairs to the back “Zone 4” a few weeks before. Now, I’m back to pick up the second part of my order, and it’s taking them just as long or even longer to bring my items out. Keep in mind there’s no one in the store shopping and no one else waiting. Did I mention it was 530pm! I came at the end because I was told I wouldn't have to wait as long! I called the store the day before to confirm that my order was ready for pickup, and the customer rep told me that everything was ready to be picked up. I even asked the rep if my entire order was in, which she confirmed. So, fast forward to pick up day, after waiting over 45 minutes, I was told my order was not ready. I asked for a refund, which was granted, and at this point, I have no problem taking my business elsewhere. Like I started todo in the first place. DO NOT SHOP HERE ITS A WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY!!!
