There red beans are nasty , and baked chicken was unseasoned. Cornbread was pretty good. Today I tried the smothered okra with stuffed bell pepper, corn and potato salad. Okra was HORRIBLE! Bell pepper tasted very bland as if only the top layer was seasoned . Potato salad was ok.. don't get me wrong there chicken plates are good with ranch fries but as far as soul food . This is not the place they need a new cook. 🤷🏾‍♀️...

I went to this establishment last year with my friend while I was visiting for Mardi Gras and the food was very good....I mean, I am giving a review a year and three months later. My friend had the stuffed peppers, and I had the catfish and gumbo, which both were great. I can't wait to visit again because this will be one of many places I'm coming to. Much love from...

This is a spot that I have to go too when I'm home. The hot plates are reasonably priced. Go in, order from the specials or get a meat special for lunch occasions. Clean & respectable. The guys working are always polite full of smiles...
