China Woks — Restaurant in Louisiana

I am sure that some enjoy this spot...it was busy at the front door saran wrapped stick your hand through the plastic to give your cash or card finalizing a transaction. The woman taking orders was a little abrupt...no worries...if the food is slammin'. It was not...disappointed. 2 stars given only, cause the food was hot. I asked for the General Tso chicken to not be fried hard...it was like chewing on FedEx bubble wrap with a sawdust finish. The pork fried rice that came with the lunch special did not have a taste...seriously-none. I kept placing soy sauce (liquid blood pressure) on it for flavor. The pork in the rice was like looking for a needle in a haystack-when you find it let me know. Look, it was busy outside...you can't go in, people were picking up orders...so there are people enjoying themselves. It may have been an off day and the place rocks!! I don't have the money to try and find out if it is or isn't. I won't be back..no, nope, niet. Form your own opinion..patronize. Be aware if you order the lunch special shrimp and broccoli, look forward to only 4 shrimp-enjoy your vegetables. You ain't heard...

Been coming here for years and in the beginning food was really good and seasoned/spicy. As of recently though the food is definitely not the same.I ordered basic garlic chicken and shrimp fried rice and it was not to my liking. The chicken didn’t even feel or taste like chicken it was very soft and mushy and overall bland. The rice as well was very bland and could’ve been seasoned better and have a couple of more shrimp.Veggies and egg rolls were ok but I’m sad that things seems to have changed. The staff are very nice people and nothing is wrong with them I just hope for things to get better...

Pull up to the slightly ducked off restaurant it was completely unoccupied. (Which could leave one sketch) kids studying in the front area. One gets up takes order..as a teenager he doesn't seem interested lol...not mad at that. The inside gave off old-fashioned stuffy small corner store vibe. STR8 TO THE POINT its simple ...your basic Chinese takeout. It was FRESH. HOT. YUMMY. HAD GREAT...
