If you don’t want children in your shop then do not offer an entire toy section and do not participate in a children’s scavenger hunt downtown. My two small children were playing with the toys in the back of the shop. A few were on the floor (not broken) and we fully intended to pick them up after we were done. I’m very intentional about my children being respectful in public areas and I was watching them the entire time. Nothing was in danger of getting broken. The older lady had the audacity to tell me “please control your children, they are making a mess.” if you don’t want kids in your shop. DONT HAVE ENTIRE SECTIONS DEDICATED TO TOYS AND CHILDREN. Read moreI'm a guy, and most of the stuff in this store is more on the cutesy side. I probably wouldn't find much of a reason to go in a store like this...but whole reason we came to Marshall was to see a store that had someone playing a real theater pipe organ--in the store! Amazing! I would love to know the history of how that ended up in there. It's played on Saturdays in December and maybe other times too.

Read moreLoved this place since I was a child. I previously gave them a 5 star however just before Covid hit they gave my wife's $20 credit/reward to another person. When we went in to use it, the "not so ladylike lady" suggested my wife was being dishonest. We did eventually find out they gave it to my sister in law. They still have yet to make it right and apologize. What a shame... we've been buying the kids Christmas tree ornaments there as a family tradition for decades....
