Started off not too bad went in got a price on a new toilet came back bought the toilet a little while later took it home waited for installer to come by we pulled the old one and installed the new one all is great until we turned on the water and seen a leak from the tank, so we looked into it a bit and noticed when the factory put the flush flapper in the gasket got twisted, so we pulled it off and by this time Bender was closed so I went to Walmart and got the whole assembly for a few dollars figured no big deal now that's fixed, or so I thought let the tank fill up and give it the first flush to try it out ya know see how loud it's going to be. Noticed its leaking again this time only when you flush it, took the tank off again and see the hole that the tank sets on, on the bowl is deformed and the big rubber grommet that you get with the toilet don't seem to fit down flush with the opening at the very back of the hole so you have about a 1/6 inch opening that's about a 1/2 inch long letting water get by so the next day I call Bender and speak with a worker and told them what's going on with it, and said I would be in after I get off work today around 3:30 pm and would be able to go home and pull the toilet and come right over, this is on a Saturday BTW and was told that would be good that I could just bring the toilet in and exchange it no problem. So once I got off work I come to the house and pull the toilet and box it back up load it in the van and make my way to Bender didn't take too long to pull and drive to Bender maybe 30 to 40 min tops anyway pull up at Bender and they are CLOSED!!! What the hell… “I spoke with them and they said to come by once I got off work I figured they would be closed on Sunday but I called them Saturday and spoke with a worker and was told to come in with the toilet and they would exchange it for me due to the defect.. now I had to go back home reinstall the defective toilet again and use it like it is until Monday afternoon and do it all again I think it was wrong of the worker to tell me to come on in knowing they would be closed not to mention I have to keep towels down around the new toilet due to the leak should have kept the old toilet a little longer but who knew...anyway that's my rant for the day BTW I don't shop here very often and didn't know until now they close at 2pm on Saturday who does that close a hardware store and lumber yard on the weekend at 2pm I can see being closed on Sunday but closed at 2pm on Saturday ????

I should be compensated for my labor at this point hell I'm paying to the guy to come out to install it, it will be the 4th time come Monday and he's only charging 20 each...

Went to get deck boards on Friday, they didn’t have in stock was quoted a price for when the truck would be in after Memorial Day. Called today to see if truck came and was told yes it came. Rushed home from work in Indy to pick up before closing. Out of screws I needed but they did agree to sell me smaller boxes for same price, cool. Go to check out and I’m told the price for deck boards is over 100$ more than the quote they gave me just four days ago when they were out of stock! We have spent a lot of money there over the last couple years trying to support our local business but never again! They will not get another penny out of my pocket for as long as I’m breathing! So much for small...

Wish I could say more but despite 2 phone calls and 2 emails, I could never even get a return call or response. Was patient and waited for over a month. Understand that these times are tough and maybe they weren't interested our weren't able to offer an estimate or service for my lumber package. However the lack of a response is extremely disappointing. We are a local company and wanted to give a local company our business, but I won't beg someone to...
