Morgan County Public Library — Attraction in Martinsville

I really enjoy this library other than it is hardly quiet. The building is lovely, there are many accommodations and workspaces. My only complaint is that people are very loud. I've been several times to work on some school assignments, and there are often people cussing, talking on the phone, and singing out loud. I like the design of the new library and the staff is polite and helpful. My only complaint is that the wifi is EXCRUTIATINGLY SLOW. For a publicly funded facility it truly is inexcusable to have placed such a low priority on this aspect of community service. I saw a young lady have to upload her college assignment three times to get it to go through.

A beautiful historical library that is part of a larger Morgan-Monroe public library system. Books can be placed on hold or brought in from other libraries. There are frequent educational classes and book sales. It is a nice way to spend the day by yourself​ or with the entire family.
