I was excited to eat here at first as I'm vegetarian and Mexican places always have vegetarian combos so my boyfriend and I went. When I walked in I was shocked by how musty the place smelled. It smells like cat pee in the carpets. The waiter was really friendly so I decided to still give it a chance and I ordered two queso covered beans burritos. The beans were absolutely inedible. I eat beans all the time due to my diet and these tasted watered down and funky like the way wet cat food smells. It tasted like no beans I've ever had in my life, like it almost tasted like they added a fishy flavor to it. Luckily my beans weren't purple like the other review said but they were so inedible that I had to remove them from my burrito and literally just eat the tortilla and queso. I'm not picky and at first I thought maybe the queso was spoiled but I isolated the beans and realized they were 100% the culprit. I feel like I was charged 14 dollars (after tip and debit charge fees) for a tortilla with queso. I even used some of my boyfriend's sour cream and lettuce and I even used my water lemon to try to salvage the beans and it was unsalvageable. And the place still smelled really stinky like pee. My waiter was very nice so I have no problem with the service, it's just the food and smell of the place was abysmal. My boyfriend said his food was also watery and bland. I would just warn anyone that's vegetarian or...
Read moreMy fiance and I were traveling through Martinsville, IN and he was in the mood for Mexican. This lovely restaurant is located across the street from the court house. If you are in a wheelchair you will need to park further down closer to the opposite corner as the side walk rises up the closer you get to the entrance.
The ambience is colorful and cheery. The restaurant was clean and well maintained. The staff was friendly and had our meal out very quickly.
My fiance ordered the Los Reyes salad that comes with your choice of meat, lettuce, grilled pineapple slices, mango salsa, guacamole, cheese, ranch dressing and a southwest egg roll. He absolutely loved it, and would definitely order it again.
I ordered their fajita taco salad that comes with your choice of meat, lettuce, cheese, sour cream, guacamole, diced tomatoes, grilled green peppers, grilled tomatoes, and grilled onions. I chose steak, and it was done to perfection. I was very happy with my meal and definitely feel that the staff at Los Reyes did an...
Read morePlaced order on phone for carryout. Guy had a difficult time understanding what I wanted. Had to repeat myself a couple of times. When I got home with order, I was missing my tortilla shells, and the other order was missing the beans, lettuce, tomato and sour cream. Made second trip back to get these items. The guapito was disappointing as it had no cheese sauce (and had to make a second trip back to get the tortillas). The burrito grande was awful. There was no shrimp in it, and the beef was so tough couldn't chew it. The beans that went back to get were terrible too. Threw away most of the beans, and 1/2 of the burrito. Been going there for many years, and this is the first time we've been so disappointed...
