Quick 1 — Local services in Maryland Heights

I stopped in Quick 1 recently. I had been there several times before with no problems. But on this particular day the woman who works there (I don't know her name but she was a heavy set, blond haired, caucasian woman) was standing outside the doorway within 2 feet of the entrance smoking a cigarette. I felt it was very inconsiderate of the customers who are coming into the store for her to be right within their path while they are walking into the store and they are forced to breathe in her second-hand smoke. So I said something to her about it and she was extremely rude with me. How can you expect customers to want to come back to your store when your employees are smoking within 2 feet from the front door and you have customers who don't want to breathe in their second hand smoke? This needs to be reported to the St. Louis County...

We have been going here for years. Love this place. Prices are fair. Have almost anything you need. The manager and most of the cashiers are super nice. The only problem I have is the new hires who are on the phones while they're waiting on you speaking a different language. You don't know if they're talking to you or if thier talking on their phone. I have been going to Quick 1 for literally decades. With few exceptions, the staff has always been friendly and helpful. One thing I have appreciated is the enforcement of the mask mandate. I am an at-risk customer, so seeing the masks required sign, and a gentle reminder if you have forgotten makes me feel much more comfortable, and welcome, than places that just don't care. ...
