Nuts Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Maryland Heights

Avoid this place like the plague!!! I went in here tonight and ordered one Long Beach, two fireball shots, two beers and one shot of Patron with me and two others. During the evening (over the course of about 3 hours) I had been offered two other shots by other customers. At the end of the night, they told me that my tab was 85.50 plus a surcharge for credit card usage (which I thought was illegal in Missouri by the way). When I questioned my bill, the woman (Heather I think) told me that she only hand-writes her tabs and to get an itemized copy would mean giving her her only copy but I said I wanted it anyways. She gave it to me and had clearly charged me for the shots offered by the 'regular'. Now, he was still right there and showed his bill which clearly ALSO had the charge for those same shots. At this time, the bartender changed her tune and started to say that someone from my party was ordering rounds. I have two problems with that. 1) DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES ALLOW SOMEONE TO PUT SOMETHING ON MY TAB and 2) no one in my party ordered any...

I ordered a cheeseburger meal to go from Nuts Bar and Grill, and I'm so glad I did. I was in the area, hungry, and I spotted this gem. When you come in, you'll see a pool table. High top tables and the big bar. The bartender was very friendly and readily assisted me. There was a really decent food selection to choose from. I was in a burger mood, so I got the cheeseburger and fries meal. Lemme tell ya, it's a half pound, char-grilled burger. Served on a buttery grilled bun that I could have eaten by itself. The fries had some kind of tasty seasoning that was really good. I'll be visiting them again soon. There was other food coming out of their kitchen that I was definitely curious about. The old school, friendly vibe and the good burger is worth the trip. Give 'em a try. ...

Came here on my 21st birthday while coming home from my job just to drink a beer and I was treated like a celebrity! Bartender made sure it was announced that I turned 21 that night after checking my ID. (No I did not wave my ID around saying It was my birthday). Anyways the whole bar congratulated me and I was bought a few shots by a few people. Everyone was friendly and greeted me.
