I have been a loyal customer since 1998, I've purchased my husband and my wedding rings here, come here for repairs and sizing and also worked along with the man who does the watchrepairs..I've spent alot of money at this store over the years and recently I purchased a bracelet for my son's birthday in August along with a lifetime service repair warranty plan. My son wore this bracelet twice and the clasp broke so I brought it in for repair, they informed me that they could not repair it so they had to send another one from the Monroe fred meyer's because they no longer have this one in stock. I agreed that is fine and asked if I could have the little box it came in replaced as well since it was kind of used up and the woman said no oroblem... SOOOO when I came in to pickup my new bracelet I asked MIMI for a box and I was informed kind of rudely "we dont give out free boxes" I felt as though she was treating me as a "charity case" and who said it was free? I payed good money for this bracelet and I was told I would receive a new box as well...I've spent plenty of money as well as my husband at this establishment and expect to be treated with respect and good customer service as well. I will no longer come in for ring sizing, purchases or cleanings anymore...I've been a customer way longer than this woman has worked there...maybe this woman doesnt realize who I am, never the less you dont tell a loyal paying customer that she cannot have a new box!! FRED MEYERS JEWELERS need to retrain this woman MIMI with some customer services courses...SHAME...
Read moreMimi is the most disrespectful associate I’ve ever worked with. I was told I was signing papers showing that they had my rings at their location and that I was waiting for an appraisal for work to be done. I was told that Tuesday (today) I’d receive a call with said quote. If I agreed to said quote the work would be finished no sooner than mid January. Mimi just called me saying they went ahead and did the work without my consent. I was misinformed on the paperwork I signed in the store I was told that was simply paperwork showing that they had my rings at their location. She was very rude and not caring about the situation. Did not care to hear what I had to say about the misinformation. They are now holding my rings hostage until I give them money for work I did not agree to. I would never recommend them and will NEVER use them again I fully intend to share my experience on all my socials and spread the word of the horrible experience I had and the thievery that they are currently doing with my wife’s rings these are schemey messed up people working here and I know a lot of ppl in this area and fully plan to spread the work on this situation. They are NOT professional or friendly. Mimi especially shouldn’t have a job there she’s incredibly rude and terrible with customer service. SO DO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION!!! They are thieves and liars that will mislead you I only signed those papers without reading because my three year old was having a meltdown and I decided to trust them in what they said the papers were. I WILL NEVER EVER WORK WITH...
Read moreStopped in tonight because I have purchased three small rings with my kids birthstones and purchased the care plan originally. I was met by Becky who instantly asked for my paperwork. When I said I didn’t have it was immediately met with a bit of a snotty attitude. “Every jeweler requires paperwork.” Absolutely not, most have records in the computer and I have been to that exact store with no problem in the past. After giving me a bit of run around and me expressing how ridiculous it is to expect people to keep a folder of paperwork and not have electronic files - she agreed to look it up. Once looked up she read me the statement about getting my jewelry checked every 12 months and pointed to each word with her finger (which I have been in within that time and had all 3 rings checked). Needless to say, I ended up leaving without getting my ring repaired. I will go to another Fred Meyer, sadly Becky’s customer service shouldn’t suffer because she isn’t making a sale. Treating me as if I cannot read or I am ignorant because I don’t have my paperwork- is unacceptable. If Fred Meyer does expect physical paperwork presented - it is 2024 and they need to utilize the computer systems better. Seems to me, since I have had service at that same location with no issue in the past- this was a Becky issue. I will never buy jewelry from Fred Meyers again due to...
