My one star review is for the service not the food. Food is always excellent Went in asked what was included in the salmon teriyaki. Was told rice and salmon. Asked if they could add vegetables. She said yes for $3 so I asked for the veggies and no rice. When our food finally came out I got a piece of salmon on top of some raw cabbage and a bunch of rice. When I pointed out that I didn't get the veggies she said that they just put extra cabbage on it. A little bit of conversation and was told that I should have specified what kind of vegetables I wanted. I was never asked about what kind of vegetables I wanted, cabbage was never mentioned when I asked about what was included. Asked to talk to a manager and was told that she was the one there and she was in charge and she was the only person to make any decisions. No apology for (her) miscommunication, just rude. I just feel like the situation could have been handled differently. I'm going to find a different place...

⭐⭐⭐EDIT 1.3.2020: NEW OWNERS- its good, but not as good, we might be again on the search for a really good teriyaki place in marysville ... The spicey chk teriyaki now has bigger pieces but on just half the tray instead of all as originally pictured. Also, felt much drier. ⭐⭐⭐⭐ORIGINAL 12.2019: Enjoyed it! Just moved to the area and I've been trying out different teriyaki places, so far this is the new fav. Meal comes with a free can soda, portion sizes are really good for the prices & the taste is delicious! They've got regular teriyaki meals, sushi, yakisoba and your typical asian plates. The spicey chk was by far the best one I've had in a loong time or ever, sweet but not overwhelming and the perfect spice (probably a 3 star). The yakisoba was good! But a little dry but i did enjoy the taste overall! dont forget to buy some teriyaki sauce for more saucey taste. The orange chk was okay (too zesty for my taste). Overall YES I reccomend, I will def be back to keep...

I used to go to Kami Teriyaki because it was my favorite place to eat. Then they went Under New Management and it was awful. I was very disappointed and I didn't think I would find anything close to as good. Then I came by this place while working and needed to grab some food real fast. I was reluctant because it too was Under New Management. It was totally worth it my! The vegetables were very fresh and looked beautiful. The beef was very lean and not that fatty nasty cheap stuff. My Mongolian beef was amazing. The portions are gigantic, seriously I have never seen bigger portions from a teriyaki place. My only complaint is I didn't get one of the little salads with that but there was so much food I don't think it really mattered. Staff was friendly and the restaurant was clean. Oh and I almost forgot you get a free soda...

I guess they got new owners in February and it is so so different in such a bad way. I ordered katsu and general Tso combo. Nothing is fresh whatsoever. The rice has a crusty outer layer and is pure mush on the inside. The general tso chicken is completely soggy and completely lacks texture. The katsu is soggy and cold, so based on the time I went there it was probably yesterday's katsu. The katsu came with no sauce at all. And the icing on the cake they no longer give you a soda with your combo. So my $17 combo doesn't get a drink. Skip Kyo and head straight to Osaka or Teriyaki Point instead, Kyo has fallen off and isn't the move anymore

Just went here for the first time today with my mom 4/18/24 and we were so impressed by the flavor of the food and the portion sizes! We were originally grocery shopping at Fred Meyers next door and the smell of fresh teriyaki caught our attention. Completely took us by surprise in a great way, their menu items are all affordable with most being at $13 for teriyaki dishes and the portions are huge enough to last a day or two. The staff are very hospitable too, the man at the front walked up to us and handed us our food with a smile. Will be back! Definitely one of the better teriyaki spots in Marysville. Thank you ⭐️
