Meijer — Local services in Marysville

The Meijer in Marysville is thee absolute best store here by far. Not only is the store in tip top shape, stocked constantly and overall organized, the Meijer in Marysville Ohio has the best employees I have ever encountered.

On 8-19-2018 I was headed to Meijer from Delaware with my son, when I noticed my blinker in my car acting funny. I took a look at it in the parking lot and discovered that I needed a new bulb, however I couldn't get the bulb out of the piece it was in to replace it . So I rush us in because it was already 8pm and getting dark. I got the new bulbs, still trying to pull the old bulb out. Was walking past the electronic section because I still needed to grab groceries.. when I saw some employees in the seasonal section.

They first asked me if I was finding everything okay and I told them yes, but that I was having troubles removing the blinker bulb from it's outlet, and they asked to take a look. After roughly 10 minutes of them trying absolutely everything they got it out 😊 I was so thankful because I didn't want to put me and my son at risk at night without a taillight..

Their names were Ben, Christy and Sarah. And I'm so thankful for their help that evening! Every single time I go into the Meijer in Marysville I feel completely at home. I feel safe and I know that the employees care about each and every customer that comes in!

Let me start by saying this, I LOVE this Meijer location, we have been shoppers there since the first day it opened. I just tried the online pickup for the first time today and the experience was horrendous!!! First off, I selected a pickup time between 11am-noon. At 9:45am I get a text message from my "personal shopper" asking me to give a better time frame of when I will be there, they wanted me to narrow the hour I picked down. Then, at 11:20, while I'm pulling into Meijer to pick up my groceries I get another text from a "personal shopper" at the Dublin store that says the Maryville store did not have enough "personal shoppers" available, so they were en route to fulfill my order, but it would not be ready until after noon.

So, I went into the Customer Service desk to complain and guess what, Meijer has no association with the pickup service, it is contracted out to a service called Shipt. So the store said they couldn't do anything for me and gave me a number to Shipt's customer service. I called that number and get the "disconnected message."

Kroger's pickup service is WAYYYYYY better and I will be using them from now on, which is disappointing because I love Meijer and the products they offer. The lack of customer service though has really showed itself and I will not be shopping...

Give a zero on this store of I could. Went black Friday shopping yesterday and we looked at the MTA clothes since they were buy 1 get 2 free. We made sure we were only looking at the ones that were buy 1 get 2 free on racks and shelves. Well turns out the person either in charge of that area or some employee put mta sweatshirts that were apparently on sale on the same rack with the but 1 get 2 free with nothing saying that sweatshirt was on sale not even on the tags either, so we didn't get our 3rd item free because someone at the store screwed it up and we had to pay for it instead of someone going to look at the rack to make sure. Then on top of that we grabbed pants off a shelve same brand but it rang up regular price instead of free even though it's a mix and match buy 1 mta get 2 free. The person in charge said she would only do it this one time even though it wasn't on sale and it was buy 1 get 2 free on regular priced items and it was on the shelf with the buy 1 get 2 free on Mta clothes. Will not be going back yo Marysville store ever again. Also it took 3 people above the cashier for someone to finally make...
