This has been the worst experience I’ve ever had. I ordered blinds for our new house, and the installer came and installed them in early May. However, they found three defective blinds during the installation. I rescheduled another appointment (canceling my plans to wait for them). On 5/27, they came, but one of the replacements was defective again. He scheduled the installation for the replacement 6/9 but cancelled it and re-scheduled on 6/10. But, he never showed up within their arrival window. This has been incredibly frustrating, and I would never recommend this office.
While most of the staff were kind, one staff member, Laura, I communicated today was very unprofessional. She told me that I needed to clear my entire day—even beyond their scheduled arrival window of 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. I told her that it would take only 10 minutes or less because only one blind needs to be installed. I told her that if they came at 2 pm, I would have been fine because I have a schedule starting at 2:30 pm. She didn't listen to me. That is so frustrating, and all of problems were caused by their mistakes (Homedepot at Marysville) in the first place.
Additionally, I noticed that the vertical they initially hung on my wall was loosely attached. See pictures. That was because the installer didn’t ask me what height I wanted the vertical blind to be hung at—he installed it without checking. I later noticed it was hung too high, so I asked him to lower it. As a result, there are now unnecessary holes in the wall, and the vertical blind is very...
Read moreWe needed mulch and headed to the Marysville Home Depot on the first day of the Spring Savings Event. It was about 7:30 am because we wanted to use their Load ‘N Go cargo van for our 55 bags and the use is first come, first served. ($19 for the first 75 minutes and $5 for each additional 15 minutes). Ann, at the service desk was so helpful with the rental and patient when, realizing we hadn’t printed our new insurance cards, we had to find the email showing the current expiration date of our policy. We drove the van to the garden area and learned it didn’t open until 8 am. Kyle, a young man operating a forklift offered to help us anyway, but first we needed to BUY the mulch. Since Kyle couldn’t help with that part, Ann helped us again, saving us a trip to the other end of the store. Kyle was able to load all 55 bags of mulch, most of which were on a palette that he loaded right into the back of the van. We drove home, unloaded the mulch and returned the van before the 75 minute time limit and it only cost us $19! What a great experience! Thank you Ann and Kyle for all...
Read moreIt started when I entered the store, there were no carts (motorized), the young taking care of bringing in the shopping carts searched diligently, finally one was found, a BIG thank you to that young man. I was in search of handy cap rails for the toilet I searched all over, nothing a young man named Dwayne took me under his wing, he checked the computer, and they had four on hand, he checked where they SHOULD be and found nothing, but that did not deter him in the least, he went and got some movable steps and searched the top and found them. He worked hard for me, and did an outstanding job. These two gentlemen from the parking lot, and from the plumbing/ kitchen departments were friendly, hardworking, and professional. These young men are a credit to Home Depot, and if I dare say other stores can take lessons from them. Thanks to those two young men a near shopping disaster turned into a wonderful experience. Thanks again for hiring top of...
