EDIT: I have now basically been reprimanded and treated like an idiot for leaving an honest review. (This makes me regret starting out my review with saying how nice the ladies all were). I have had my nails done every two weeks for 3 years and back in CO I never once had lumpy nails from a shellac OR a dip set. I knew that I had an exceptional tech back home but seeing as how he could staff a 15 station salon with equally competent techs led me to assume that the quality I received was fairly standard. I hope that by reading my actual review people can see that I admitted fault in not calling ahead to ask about a dip set and that there was no issue with the timing of service, I simply noted that I stuck with the more expensive color because there wasn't extra time to have my nails redone with a different color that didn't cost so much. I have found that the way business owners respond to negative reviews says a lot about who they are and how they run their business - and I will certainly never support this one again! After this second negative experience (with the review response) I would honestly make sure to warn people against going to this salon if anyone asks me for a recommendation. It's such a shame, as I've heard that the owner does amazing dip and acrylic sets, which I was going to schedule an appointment for in the future if my shellac looked nice, but now I don't plan to ever go back. ORIGINAL REVIEW: Terrible work but the ladies were nice. They only do full sets by appointment (my fault for not calling ahead to ask) so I opted for shellac. The lady neglected to tell me that the color I chose would cost $10 DOLLARS MORE until AFTER she had finished one whole hand. My sisters in law were on a schedule so I didn't have the time to ask her to redo it with a different color. She put so many layers of paint on mine and my sister in law's nails that they look like bubble nails. They're fat and super lumpy and uneven. There was color all over my fingertips around the nails. I can't believe I paid $40 plus tip for a terrible set of shellac. Before moving here, $40 is what I paid for a full dip set with...
Read moreI went to get dipping powder last Saturday and I had an appointment scheduled for 2 o’clock, I had to wait for 45 min before the lady got started on me. But this is not the big issue, the worst part was the next day the color was coming off and I paid $60.00 for this service and it was my own nails. This the most worst nail shop I have ever been too. I don’t believe this nail shop should be fine n business doing nails , they don’t know what they’re doing. Also the lady that was sitting next to me getting shellac was very upset because the lady that was doing it for her cut her finger and was bleeding. I will never ever go back to U.S nails...
Read moreI absolutely love this salon! If you are thinking about getting your dip nails changed out or making the leap to dips from another service, make your appointment with the owner, Lynn. For dips, you must make an appointment! (Having well-cared for, sculpted, and healthy nails takes time.) All the employees in the salon are sweet and understanding. Lynn, the owner, has always been awesome and done all she can to make my nails look and feel great. With Lynn's expertise, she was also able to suggest service options for the longevity of my toenail polish. (I wear close-toed shoes for work.) ...
