I really like Thai, so I may be picky. I've had some of the best Thai Hawaii has to offer that's been featured on Food Network many times over.

The drunken noodles we're really good, albeit a little on the sweet side. Lacking on the veggies/shrimp too. But overall decently good.

The three appetizers we ordered were all disappointing. The spring rolls were the most passably ok. Fresh, but not what you'd expect from a typical Thai spring roll order.it was fresh lettuce overload so that overtook the whole appetizer. Seemed pretty fresh though.

The "Crab Rangoon" (where is the CRAB in this dish?!) was seriously lacking any crab? It was just watered down cream cheese that tasted very off.

The calamari was the most bland flavored calamari I'd ever had. That's my favorite appetizer of all time and theirs was very disappointing. Even with the dipping waive it just was no taste at all. It was cooked well with the tempura and crispy, just no flavor. Not in the tempura, no calamari flavor at all.

Because I am too polite I never say anything to the kitchen or wait staff about the food, but I likely won't return. However the service was lovely, all the staff was courteous and professional, and the atmosphere was good.

If I return I would order the drunken noodles again with a level up in spice (I had the mild this time since any other place mild would be almost too spicy, but not here), or perhaps try the Pad Thai. The noodles do reheat very well though, and provided great noodley deliciousness for...

They scammed my mother who dined in and would refuse to give a receipt. I’m going to complain about there business because this is honestly so wrong. My mother tipped her and everything too, the lady bribed her with free food and lied about herself being the manager. She gave us her “managers” number and it was her person cell. We know this because my mother parked from a distance and called the “manager” while the same girl answered the phone. This is honestly so sad that they lied about all there prices. My mom complained to them for false advertising because the lady kept up charging, the lady told her she didn’t want her business shut down and was trying to guilt trip her .😐 DO NOT GO HERE. The “free pad Thai” wasn’t rlly free either since they overcharged my mom so much and lied about prices. I repeat please don’t waste your money or time here it’s just something you don’t want...

The food is good, that is the only reason they get 2 stars. If you must go here, get take out. If you have kids, don't bother, it is most certainly not kid friendly. Went there with two good friends and my 18 month old Godson who had a meltdown partway through dinner (please name one toddler who has not done this to their parents in public). When his mother took him outside to calm him down, the waitress came over and complained that she lost 3 customers because he was crying. I had a view of the front door, nobody left because of his crying. I've been there many times and recommended many people to the restaurant but not anymore, her comments were completely unnecessary. You are right, you did lose 3 customers, we will never be back! PS. You don't always have to say everything you think, especially when you are...

So maybe these guys were just having a bad evening but I was fairly disappointed with Chan Thai, and I have had a lot of thai food in the area from Mt. Vernon to Everett and this was definitely sub par. Ordered food for 3 people and all of our dishes (2 entree's, 1 massaman curry, and 1 order of fresh rolls) were very bland, rubbery, and watery. The portions were very small and there were very few fresh vegetables in each dish that was supposed to come with them, and those that were present were obviously just frozen/reheated or it looked like they just threw some shredded lettuce/cabbage from a bag in the mix (Which was weird) Summary: Food was bland, poorly cooked, and small portions. Probably will go elsewhere.

Never ordering here again! Ordered takeout and they were 30 minutes late from their window, which is forgivable but when we came home they had missed one of our dishes (Chicken Pad Thai). When I called the restaurant they said they didn’t forget anything but would give me a “free” one if I came back. After driving all the way back and picking up the order they missed, I come home to find some weird sauce on my Pad Thai which I’ve never seen. I’ve eaten Pad Thai hundreds of times and never seen it come out this color (see below) nor have this bbq-esq sauce on it which I can only believe was out of spite. Do yourself a favor and find a different restaurant to give your business.

Under the new ownership of Chan Thai Marysville, it is a delight to dine in. Champ, the owner, who was also our server did execute well with serving and bartending during our visit. He was a one man show but that did not slow down anything at all. The food we had ordered came out in decent amount and flavors - yet not to mention cocktails. If I had lived up north, I would frequent or at least I would look forward to if ever again happen to be there. Interior is so Thai - reminded me of 70s to 80s. The place was clean. Highly recommend. Just come and order everything!!! PS: try Mango with Sticky Rice!! the sticky rice was made truly so authentic.
