Dairy Queen Grill & Chill — Restaurant in Marysville

Been a long time since I had been to Dairy Queen so I thought I would give them a try. Big mistake. I understand why it had been years since my last visit. Person at the counter was clearly in training, but fortunately he had someone else with him to help guide him through. The trainee mumbled under his breath with his head pointed downward making him impossible to understand. Luckily for him the trainer took over and did all the speaking for him and we eventually made it through the ordering process. While waiting for my blizzard I ran to the restroom which has clearly not been cleaned in some time, there was either blood or ketchup or some red substance dripping down the back of the door and onto the floor. I didn't stick around long enough to investigate. Shortly after returning to the restaurant someone came out from the back and for some strange reason decided to flip my blizzard upside down dumping about a third of it on the counter. Don't know if they were trying to be cute or clever or what, but a completely stupid idea, especially when it was near 80 degrees outside. They ran back in the kitchen and topped off my cup again. Unfortunately the disappointment did not end there. The blizzard was not good. Poorly mixed, perhaps because of the upsidedown mishap and it was so sweet. I will never go back to this place again. I attempted to go to the drive-through while picking up an Uber eats delivery. The worker said I had to come into the lobby. I told him no I was not comfortable with that and per Uber’s policy if I’m not comfortable going in the lobby I can go through the drive-through. He then said no you need to come in the lobby. I said no again per Uber policy I don’t have to if I’m not comfortable. I get up to the window and he very aggressively leans out and starts talking to me in a very aggressive tone. Telling me that next time I will not come through the drive-through I will come into the lobby. Then One of the little girls working in the back wanted to lean out the window and tell me how it’s against their policy. So, it’s against your policy to allow someone Convenience of coming through the drive-through? I have asthma, if I catch Covid it would not be pretty. I am not comfortable going in the lobby because I do not know where everyone has been. If I go through the drive-through I can maintain a safe distance and be in my own car and not have to worry about anything. The kid working was a blonde youngish kid likely 16 to 20. WORST Dairy Queen we have ever been to!!! First of all.....are they closing and going out of business?? Looks like it, dark and only drive thru open on a Saturday night....depressing! We went thru the drive thru and ordered 2 large blizzards. We ordered the same kind, just one with extra goodies and one regular. When the girl went to hand them out, my husband asks "which is which" to which the girl replied "honestly I have no idea" WHAT, REALLY? She couldn't have cared less......she then proceeds to take the spoon in the ice cream and started digging around in them. I said, stop digging around in our ice cream, I can do that my self....gross. At $20 plus an hour now...do better! She shouldn't have that job. I own coffee shops, if one of my employees acted that way she would be fired. This was Saturday Jan 4th at about 5 pm if the owners would like to know who it was and get rid of her. WOW!!! Also, blizzards were sub par, we didn't even finish them.I have read your responses to the other horrible reviews...please don't call me a "fan" and tell me to forward my review, I already have. I certainly hope the owners of this establishment take all of these bad reviews seriously or they will be out of...
