With the newer owners this comic shop has really blossomed. Owners and staff are very knowledgeable, extremely helpful, and obviously love what they do. They have a ton of selection; Graphic novels, manga, action figures, pops, plushies, board games and card games, retro video games, apparel, etc. They have a large game room in the back where they host magic tournaments, hobby paint nights, and board game demos. You can go in and use their tables for your games as long as there is free space available. They also have some concessions which is really nice. This place is freakin awesome! they have all sorts of shtuff. I bought some great Christmas presents @ Now & Then. and the staff was very friendly, as soon as I asked them a question about a game they talked my ears off. but I wasn't sneaking around and not buying anything. and the other gamers there were friendly to me, for my first time being at the place. it is a very nice atmosphere there. and they let your smoke out back and eat fast food inside, they even let you have bottled drinks inside and they sell drinks and candy. and they had the heat on it was pretty warm considering it was snowing outside. the place was...

I love their new space! It's bigger and well-lit (except for the manga section) and clean, and the workers (and customers!) there are nice. :) They have a huge, awe-inspiring comics/manga selection, which truly makes Now and Then the anime/manga lovers' haven in little ol' Mason City. I don't play Magic the Gathering often, but they seem to do well with that too, because my husband loved it. :) They also have a cute room full of board games, and the storefront has Pop figures and D&D books and other merchandise, so they really have so many nerdy, fun things in there...
