Men's Wearhouse — Local services in Maumee

Just wanted to take a second and thank Zack Debruyne & Austin Nowak for the outstanding job they did for me today! I had a horrible experience with the 4325 Talmadge Rd, Toledo, OH 43623 location.

After multiple visits to the Talmadge location, I still needed assistance with exchanges to get the proper size shoe and pants. I was told you will be fine when given a size 34x32 pant, when my actual size is 34x30. I was told you will be fine with a size 11 shoe, when my actual size was 10 1/12. I was furious that when I got home the pants were too long and the shoes were too big.

Yes, one should always try on clothes before leaving the store but when the supposed professional says "you will be fine" I thought I would be. Huge mistake! Well the next day I decided to drive out to the Maumee location. Best decision I could have made.

As soon as you walk in you will know why. Very welcoming, beautiful store, huge selection and voila I hear "How can I help you" - Zack Debruyne! Zack and Austin were like saviors after the hell I went through with the online store and the Talmadge location. These two instantly calmed me down, listened to my needs, and went right to work. I would rate the entire process 10 stars if I could. I've been a Men's wearhouse customer since 2009. That run was going to end until I met Zack Debruyne & Austin Nowak of the Maumee, Ohio location! Store was clean but that's not what really matters nor is it why you shop at Men's Warehouse. You shop at Men's Wearhouse to get clothes that will make you look sharp. John really helped me out. He selected numerous suit separates, showed me different looks, and did his best to work within my budget. He got me what I wanted, saved me a bunch of money, and made sure the experience was educating and pleasant.

Just because it's a chain, don't discount the quality of service you'll receive. I'll be back for more help once the wallet recovers.

Update: Originally put 5 stars based on my initial experience, however, the following two visits put a bad taste in my mouth. The first time I came to pick up my 1st suit, it was supposed to be completely tailored. The jacket was not. They claimed they didn't have enough time even though I came in after my pickup time. Thankfully it was close enough to wear for what I needed it for.

Brought it back after my event to have it finished. Getting it marked up and scheduled for pickup was easy.

Came in to pick up the jacket and other suit about an hour and a half after the pickup slip showed. Nothing was ready. Associate said normal pickup is 7pm even though my slip said 3pm.

The Men's Wearhouse in Maumee has become my husband's go to place for suits. He purchased his suit here and had the alterations done here and we also rented the groomsmen suits as well. High praise for Anita, the saleswoman/stylist he worked with. Definitely work with her if you can, very knowledgeable and skilled at her job. For himself he chose to purchase the Awearness Kenneth Cole ChillFlex slim fit jacket, vest & pants. The alteration dept. got everything fitting perfectly. Only disappointment was the lining on the vest underarms started pilling after 1 wear, but that's a quality issue and not this store's fault. For the groomsmen, they rented the Pronto Uomo 1912 jacket and pants. Beware the pants do not have belt loops, this was a surprise to us, but we decided not a dealbreaker. My husband tie was an old Men's Wearhouse purchase and the groomsmen we purchased from another retailer.
