Food Giant — Local services in Mayfield

This store used to have really good fried chicken. It is still better than Mayfield's other chicken choice, KFC, but that's not saying much. Seems to be old and dried out no matter what time of day you go. The mashed potatoes are terrible. Mashed potatoes out of a box are way better than what they offer and once again that isn't saying much. The staff is nice and they will help you to your car if needed. As far as fresh fruit goes Save-A-Lot has the best in Mayfield. You have to go to Off-the-Hoof if you want meat or chicken to cook...

Who in their right mind wants to spend the extra money to go to this store to be disrespected by the employees. They get away with telling customers "cry about it" then when you call to speak to a manager "it's that girl" and get hung up on, not once but twice. What manager lets their employees talk to people like that? One that isn't in town so that allows employees to talk to whoever however they want? That's wrong. I absolutely love Food Giant!!! It is the perfect place to fill up that freezer. The people in the meat department are so helpful. Every week, they have a sale on something that you need. I buy a lot because I can't find it at that price anywhere else!!!The deli and Hot Food Bar is the best!!!
