Huddle House — Restaurant in Mayfield

We went to Huddle House for Father's day. My beautiful daughter wanted to take me out which made me very happy. What a horrible experience for all of us. Although this restaurant is new, it's easy to see that the location was not really cleaned from the previous business that was there. The floor was disgusting, it was covered with dead flies, and there was not only ants on the tables but all over the floors and walls. The handles on the waffle makers were covered in dried batter that you could tell has been there for a long long time. My wife and I ordered the meat lovers omelette that is supposed to come with onions and tomatoes. Neither one of our omelettes had onions or tomatoes! They microwave their biscuits so they are tough and rubbery. This is nothing more than a dirty, disgusting fast food breakfast dive. Our server was very sweet and was the best part of the whole experience. We have owned a restaurant for over 10 years and we will never be back to this location. The owner takes absolutely no pride in the business. Mayfield can definitely do a lot better. We can't wait for Wilma's to...

Its easy to see that the Huddle House in Mayfield. Kentucky is a very friendly place upon  walking in the door. Eerybody is very very friendly in the quaint, well lit little place.  Its a bright,  clean,   & charming little environment in a down home sort of way.  Everyone was happy to greet us friendly conversation, the food came out quickly and it was so good. It was really excellent. I can't remember service of food. This good Lana was our waitress but the other waitress also helped because I was indecisive and wanted coffee, then I didn't want coffee so they just were both happy to help me and didn't know what a pancakes and I didn't want pancakes and so that everybody was anxious to help David, Tony was awesome cooks and they were all so friendly as they were cooking. And this day and time when no one else wants to provide service this place still gives the best have a wonderful day. Thank y'all. Have any ride after. I've already posted all. Thank you so much. Went for dinner tonight. We had a young man as our server. I did not get his name, but he was good. I had questioned about the spicy sauce on the chicken sandwich , as I am very picky. He went and got me some to try (which by the way is really good). He was there to remove plates and bring everything we needed. They were out of the chicken patty, so I was asked if they could substitute chicken tenders. Which was fine. My Sandwich ended up being huge. I took half of it home with me. We got the sampler appetizer which was chicken wings (like 6 of them, 3 mozzarella sticks, and 4-5 jalapeno poppers) and it also came with fries which surprised me. My husband got some hash brown platter with sausage and bacon and it was huge. We got 2 meals and an appetizer for less than 32 dollars. Took half of it home with us because it was so much food. I'm used to spending way to much money on food and leaving mad due to still being hungry and/or bad service. This was an enjoyable evening out and will be back...
