Today I went to this heb and honestly they have a very bad attitude, both some of the cashiers and the cashier Katty who was at checkout 6 today and the manager Ashley who is useless as a manager I liked going there because they had good service until today I went to buy food and I had to go to the bathroom I told my son and my mother to wait for me to pay since I had a bottle of liquor, it didn't take long and when I got to the cashier my surprise was that the cashier Katty had a bad attitude my mother try to bought a liquor and told my son that he had to pay for the errand my mom doesnt speak Spanish and she doesnât know how to used the machine to pay He arrived. I told her that my mother is going to pay for the bottle. none of us when I check the receipt she never marked it in the box and told me that she was no longer going to sell me anything and the manager didn't even know anything just giving her the reason instead of checking the receipt sincerely as a customer they already lost me It doesn't make a difference to heb but I hope they look the review and choose your employees well since they do not care about the customers and less with that attitude the only thing they will do is lose customers here I attach photos of the receipts where Mrs. Katty never marked the liquor and that according to what she had already marked she and canceled and that for the whole day from now they were not going to sell me anything and that in any case I would return and pay it with other cashier here was that the lady is not in a good mood or she does not like her work.    Read moreIn the past week we've had two spoiled Central Market Organic Half and Half creamers, a spoiled 2% mootopia, ice cream bars that clearly melted 100% and then were refrozen and today HEB Deli branded chocolate humus that had a nice layer of white mold growing in it. You might want to check your refrigeration units, with the price hikes on everything I'm sure HEB can afford it. I don't even buy their ground beef anymore because the packages lately have been soaked wet from the condensation dropping from their refrigeration units.
After the recent trend of spoiled food which I previously would just discard and call a loss, the rotten humus purchased and opened today that my daughter tried to eat finally what made me return back to the store for a return. I explain to the manager and their indifference to possibly having some sort of issue on their end is obvious. Not surprising as previously the worst part of this store was their inability to handle checkout with anything resembling efficiency.
The line managers would just stand there wide eyed, pretending to do something about the problem. They just let the chaos run it's course and pat themselves on the back once the lines die down. Now I have to worry about rotten food on a regular basis. Maybe corporate can inform the team at this store that they shouldn't leave refrigerated goods out for hours in the sun during our 110 degree days before brining it back in and selling to the customer? I've become the dairy taste tester at our home, because my kids run with the assumption that it's highly likely something is spoiled if it came...
   Read moreI've had multiple disappointments at this location. I moved from North McAllen to South, so this is the closest HEB to go to. That being said, for the longest time, this HEB would run out of the Crafted bread I would buy within a day. They always run out of the Organic milk I used to buy, as well, and they also don't carry some basic cereal brands at this place, either.. After recognizing this, I would still go, but then afterwards, I bought chocolate chip muffins for my coworkers one day, and when they bit into them, the center had blueberries. The only good I can say is that I told the manager about these incidents, and he made sure to add more of that particular bread to their stock, and they were nice enough to give me a refund and a new batch of muffins without charge.. The tipping point that made me write this review, however, was when I went last week to buy cold brew coffee. I opened it up a few days ago, and I noticed it tasted funny.
