Earlier this summer, I spoke with the General Manager of the 168th & Maple St (Omaha) location, Travis.
We pay for the Express Full Service (External & Internal) and have done so for over 6 months.
When I spoke with Travis, I explained that on three separate occasions (at the time) we had taken our Jeep Wrangler through the interior cleaning, and upon leaving discovered that various parts of our vehicle had not been cleaned, vacuumed, wiped down, etc.
At that time, Travis told me:
He gave me free month of service because of my frustration at the time.
Since that time, we have been back through this location about every week. There have been multiple times since then that we haven’t been happy, but it wasn’t worth it to complain because we felt like it wasn’t getting addressed.
Today (09/17/23), I took the vehicle through the exterior and interior washes again. When I dropped the car off in the interior cleaning section, I specifically asked the kid on duty to make sure to vacuum the back because we had just been to the pumpkin patch and it had a lot of loose dirt, dust, etc.
Our issues from today: Didn’t take the mats out of the inside to clean them Still mud in multiple areas of the car Windows were not cleaned I opened the back of the Wrangler before leaving and noticed it hadn’t been vacuumed, so I informed the young man working there so that he could vacuum it out at that time. Still has a couple places in the back seat that didn’t get wiped off Noticeable mud/dirt on the inside of the back.
I pulled back around to talk to the manager and spoke with Tyler. His response upon me bringing up my concerns were: “I’ll talk to the guys and ask them to do a better job.” “What do you want me to...
Read moreAbout a year ago, I switched My husband and my membership from another car wash (guy in the yellow rain suit!) when the rocket car wash opened two minutes from my house. Not only was my drive four minutes instead of 10, it was a little bit cheaper for our monthly cost. It seems like as time has gone on, the Supplies they put out to detail have become less and less available. I came here tonight at 8 o’clock, a full hour before close. It was the first hot sunny day in a week so I assumed maybe the last several times I came was just a fluke…but nope!! ONE supply cart for the entire lower section and ONE for the upper. I sat for 26 minutes, waiting for people to bring back the supplies as the entire area was sharing one cart. Finally some guy who had one set of the cleaning products brought them to the cart, but the worker actually beat me to it and took them all back inside the member area leaving only windex and air freshener! I think I have had one visit that I would classify equal to the other Carwash.… Every other time either vacuums had terrible suction becuase they’re clogged, there hasn’t been enough cleaning rags, or there hasn’t been enough supplies for the guests. In fact, I started keeping my own interior cleaning supplies in my trunk because I knew I’d probably need them!
Any savings we saw from switching over doesn’t really seem worth five dollars back in my pocket, nor does the distance really matter like I thought it would when I have to spend 30 minutes waiting to use the supplies at Rocket Carwash that are consistently filled and stocked and NEVER missing at the...
Read moreI have been a member of rocket carwash for almost 2 years, and have had little to know problems until recently. After purchasing a new vehicle, I was exited to maintain the look and integrity, as it was a big investment for me. Recently, I had two separate incidents where damages at 2 separate locations, where damages occurred. I filled a claim on the first one, oakview, be it minor, I wanted to see if the car wash would work with me; a piece of the bug deflector on the hood broke, rocket reached out promptly.
After a few weeks nothing as far as an update. Recently I was at the car wash on Maple Street and 168th, and the over- head brush, ripped out my hood protector, bug deflector, bug deflector harness, hardware, striped grommet receivers out of my hood, and even broke out my hood vent.
I filed a second claim. Again, quick response, one week no updates, I followed up. Rocket promptly replied that: the car was was not responsible as they only cover manufacturing parts. I explained these things came standard, and were advertised on the sticker at the dealership, and where a part of the trim package and they replied apologizing that I missed the disclaimers posted "everywhere" Though out there establishments; and sent me an attachment, duplicate of the signs "posted" on site. This is going to cost me 1k plus to resolve, and I was bummed because it looked so nice, I once enjoyed their services, I understand the liability, just be warned, they are not willing to work with you on resolution.
Before and after...
